The green-haired contractor’s head exploded as he fell down.
The headless body fell down. If this contractor was just after the Dark Purple Treasure chest, he wouldn’t have died like this, but he was eying Su Xiao’s equipment as well.
He was greedy and met his demise due to it.
Su Xiao knows that he was greedy sometimes, but he won’t let his greed control him. If he could get what he wanted, he wouldn’t hesitate, but if there is a risk he would die, then he will turn around directly.
After the green-haired contractor died, Su Xiao aimed the muzzle directly to his left and shot.

Another contractor’s head exploded, and the others around immediately exclaimed: “This fellow isn’t dying. We need to escape quickly!!”
After this, footsteps filled the corridor as the contractors started escaping quickly.
But Su Xiao wouldn’t let all of them go.

Su Xiao fired two shots which penetrated two contractors’ chests, killing them instantly.
After the footsteps sound vanishes, Su Xiao started feeding his sword blood.
Su Xiao wanted to heal himself quickly, and with the Elf’s secret potion and the Snow Goddess aura from Bob, he restored about 60% of his HP.
Because of the massive blood loss, he wasn’t able to recover more for now.
Although he wasn’t at full power currently, he could fight.
The ground suddenly vibrated, and the red light gushed out of the ground.
“Is this?”
Su Xiao looked all around and quickly guessed what’s happening.
The Transmutation circle was activated.
Amestris altogether has 50 million people, doctors, workers, generals, farmers, and all others fell and struggled in pain.
The only safe zone was under the palace, which the Dwarf In the Flask made so that the five human sacrifices can survive.
Before opening the Gate of Truth, the Dwarf won’t massacre them.
The souls of the citizens flew in the air all around Amestris.

Underground, the Dwarf in the Flask revealed his true body.
Its real appearance was really ugly with a body black and purple, like a human-made of shadow.
Tens of thousands of souls gathered around the Dwarf In the Flask, but he was still dissatisfied.
There were 20 million souls gathered right now, and 30 million remained and couldn’t be extracted as the circle wasn’t complete and the activation time was too early.
But it had to activate it now, or else it won’t survive.
The Dwarf in the Flask still didn’t know why the plan that was going smoothly suddenly come to a halt.
The 20 million souls entered the Dwarf’s body and turned into a Philosopher’s Stone, making his body grow rapidly.
It broke through the building and stood like a giant in the night’s sky.
The Dwarf in the Flask suddenly stretched his arms into the sky and said: “Oh god! Respond to my soul and come.” A white line appeared in the circle in the sky, and a rectangular door opened.
Inside the door was complete darkness. Only an eye appeared that had a gray pupil.
This was the gate of truth, the foundation of Alchemy.
Black tentacles stretched out of the darkness, intending to draw the Dwarf inside of it, but this is the reason the latter prepared five human sacrifices.
If ordinary alchemists tried, they wouldn’t be able to resist the gate of truth’s pull, but the Dwarf in the Flask had the power of 20 million souls, and he wanted to drag the eye of God to become part of his body.
“I will drag you and make you part of me.”
The eye of God started getting out of the gate slowly as the Dwarf in the Flask release all of his power.

The energy swept the entire city and caused houses to crumble down.

Under the Palace, Su Xiao was somewhat confused, as he felt the energy a moment ago, but luckily, he wasn’t close enough, or else he wouldn’t be able to cope with it.
The Dwarf in the Flask became ‘god’ now, and the Reincarnation paradise said he was a false god.
After the first transmutation circle going off, the second one was about to start.
It wasn’t the Dwarf in the Flask who made it, but it was Van Hohenheim.
It’s almost the same as the Dwarf’s transmutation circle but in reverse.

“I know every alchemy technique now; you can say goodbye.”
The Dwarf lifted his hand and created a small sun.
Edward and the other looked in shock.
“That’s…”
Hohenheim pretended to be surprised as he waited for the second Transmutation circle to start.
“I’m now god, making the sun isn’t an issue.”
The Dwarf prepared to eliminate everyone but his eyes suddenly opened.
“Is this?”
“The moment you obtained the power of God, you were doomed to die.”
Hohenheim roared angrily as the transmutation circle started.
“Ahhh!”
Countless souls run out from the Dwarf in the Flask and dissipated.

Su Xiao looked at the souls shooting up the sky, and his heartbeats accelerated.
Success, although the Dwarf in the Flask holds the power of God, he lost the energy to use it.
“This solves the stabilizing factor.”
Because the Transmutation circle started, all contractors were under the palace.
Su Xiao wasn’t thinking about killing the contractors completely, which was impossible, but he needed to drive them away.
