Rejected the Demon’s Marriage Proposal Thousands of Times Chapter 27.3

Betrayal of Trust (3)

"Is the wound okay? Does it need to be re-dressed?" Anna ignored Rothgarr's words and only asked about the wound.

Rothgarr didn't realize that something was off. He wanted to refuse, but after second thought, decided against it. Anna was fascinated after seeing the Holy Son. It was obvious that the Holy Son's body was very attractive to her.

"It seems to have split open," he said.

In an attitude of being responsible for the Holy Son's body, Anna carefully avoided the wound on the Holy Son's shoulder, helped the demon sit up and leaned him back against the pillow. She untied his nightgown, and checked the wound on his shoulder.

Before Rothgarr could register these actions, his shoulders were exposed. The fair skin was covered with white gauze, and the wound was indeed bleeding.

He didn't pay much attention to the wound. A strange feeling arose in his heart; was Anna this skillful at taking off men's clothes?

If he used the Holy Healing technique, the wound could heal quickly, and at the very least, there would be no more blood oozing.

But Victor himself was the Holy Son, and his Holy Healing technique was much better than that of Father Louis’s. So when Father Louis came to see him, the former didn't plan on using the technique on the Holy Son.

And Rothgarr himself didn’t like to use the light element, nor did he care much about the pain of the wound, so he didn’t bother.

As a result, the scene of a bleeding wound on the Holy Son's shoulder appeared in front of Anna.

Anna didn't think too much; she would rather treat the wound for the demon to avoid talking with him.

She was so afraid that her and the demon's rebellious conversation was overheard, and she was even more afraid that the demon would say to outsiders that there is no goddess, and that he would be willing to betray his faith for her. He was not a human being, so of course he didn’t care about these things, but these were matters related to her life!

Rothgarr was still considering Anna's proficiency in taking off men's clothes, but Anna had already used scissors to cut the gauze, ready to re-bandage him.

As she carefully wiped off the blood around Victor’s wound, she whispered: "Esteemed Holy Son, you should never bring up the topic from before in front of others. You are injured now; we can talk after you have recovered, okay?"

Rothgarr glanced at Anna's gentle hand on his wound, and listened to Anna's soft words in his ear. The first thought was to tell her that if she agreed to marry him, then he would promise her not to mention it in front of others.

But first, this was different from teaching literacy, which was beneficial. This was considered coercion and violated the agreement with Balan. Second, in the long confrontation between him and Anna, he more or less realized that it was impossible for Anna to agree to his proposal of marriage just like that. Balan always said that some girls liked to be direct and other girls needed romantic gestures.

Therefore, Rothgarr swallowed his original thoughts back and responded, "Okay."

Anna wanted to use the procrastination tactic. First, she would spend these next few days taking care of the demon. As for the rest, she would cross that bridge when she got there. She didn't expect the demon to agree so readily, and she gave him a surprised look.

But she felt at ease very quickly. If he wanted to deceive her soul, wasn’t it normal to be agreeable? He would lower her guard first, and use the Holy Son's appearance and gentle whispers to gradually win her heart... Fortunately, she knew that the demon was inside, otherwise, with the Holy Son’s beautiful appearance and gentle attitude, who could withstand it, hm?

Anna was alert and smiled reciprocally: "Thank you very much."

The surrounding area of

the wound had been cleaned up. Fortunately, the flat-lying wound did not turn inside out, otherwise she would have been too scared to look at it. Before wrapping it up with gauze, Anna thought, such a neat wound must have been caused by magic.

When she thought about using such a powerful spell in the future, she couldn't help feeling fascinated.

The wound was on his shoulder, so the gauze needed to be wrapped around Rothgarr's body. Anna had to be very close to him, and she even brushed over his skin several times.

But there was not even a little bit of a charming atmosphere created.

Anna had no interest in the demon or the Holy Son. Taking care of Victor's body was like taking care of a beautiful object, and her attitude was upright.

And Rothgarr himself did not have that convenient idea. He was seriously lacking in experience with women, and he didn't know that he could take advantage of this very ambiguous opportunity to be sultry.

So, Rothgarr didn't do anything even when Anna helped Rothgarr tie his robes and step aside.

He looked at Anna's serious profile. She was packing her things, and her movements were very neat.

Up until this moment, he suddenly noticed something strange.

Rothgarr recalled that when he possessed Parrish and Ulysses in the past, Anna was respectful, but always distant.

But this time when he possessed Victor, her attitude was obviously different. She seemed to be much more intimate and gentle.

He sneered suddenly.

This two-faced, cunning woman; this was called not having interest in the Holy Son?!
