Respect The Strong (2)

She also found leather shoes and leather fingerless gloves. Although it made her feel hot, it could prevent her from being easily bitten and scratched. She also dug out a hiking backpack and scoured everything she thought she could use into the bag. After doing all this, she sat down on the ground and began to cultivate.

She has lived in the Immortal Cultivation World for an unknown number of years, and she knew countless exercises. She quickly found the most suitable exercise to practice based on the aptitude of her body. Because she already has spiritual energy in her body, she could draw energy into her meridians quickly. With the nourishment of spiritual energy, she wouldn’t be uncomfortably starving despite still feeling hungry.

This practice lasted two days and two nights. Chu Xiang successfully cultivated the first layer of Qi cultivation. Compared to ordinary people, her speed and strength were much greater; her five senses were also much more sensitive; and even her body was lighter.

Chu Xiang clenched her fists, smiled, and got up. She combed her shoulder-length hair into a high ponytail and looked in the mirror. This body was 165 cm tall, with a bulging front and back, and a voluptuous figure. It was hidden by her wide denim clothes, but her fair and beautiful face couldn’t be covered.

The oval face, big eyes, double eyelids, curled eyelashes, high nose bridge, and red lips, made the face indeed stunning. It could also rank in the top three compared with all the beauties in the entertainment industry, but in a post-apocalyptic world, it was too conspicuous.

Chu Xiang looked in the mirror for a while, took a cap and a mask and put them on, intending to go to a nearby shopping mall to scout. There was everything in the building. The ground floor was a supermarket, and the fourth floor was a food court. If she was lucky, she could secure a lot of good things. If there were too many zombies, she would choose another place.

Judging from the original owner’s memory, it has been a month since the zombies appeared. However, the police and army have not come forward to purge them, which meant that the government was unreliable. There would only be an increase of zombies outside. She must collect supplies and find a base to survive.

She put on a watch to keep track of the time. It was one o’clock in the afternoon. It was just the right time to go around the mall and find a good place to settle down before dark. She took one last look at the place she transmigrated and headed out the door with a baseball bat in her backpack.

The zombies lumbered. Chu Xiang could circumvent them, but if she really wasn’t left with any other choice, she would swing her bat and knock the zombies to death. There were one or two zombies or bitten corpses on the road every other way in the city, so it was inconvenient to drive. Chu Xiang ran while observing the situation around her. She spotted a variable-speed bicycle, immediately ran toward it to solve the zombies nearby, and sped on the bicycle on the road.

She moved much faster now! Chu Xiang flexibly shuttled among the zombies. When she encountered a crowd of them, she shifted gears into another path to bypass them, and quickly rushed to the shopping mall. The glass on the first floor of the mall was shattered, but strangely enough, there were few zombies inside.

She parked her bicycle and sprinted into the mall to find suitable clothes and weapons. To her surprise, she found a pistol at the top of the stairs!

She went downstairs holding the gun in her hand and was about to go to the supermarket to find some food, when she suddenly heard the growls of zombies and the angry shout of a man. The sound emanated from the warehouse.

Chu Xiang paused and walked carefully and quietly towards the warehouse. She didn’t know if the mall was closed during the catastrophe. There were no zombies in the entire mall, and she dealt with the occasional sight of them. There were more than twenty outside the warehouse, all of which were crowding at the door trying to get in.

In the gap between the zombies, Chu Xiang saw that the warehouse door was pinned with an iron bar from the outside. The person inside was still cursing under his breath, “Do you think I will die? I swear I will kill you all when I make it out alive!”

The person inside was the first living man Chu Xiang encountered after transmigrating. From his words alone, he seemed to have fallen victim to others’ schemes. His abilities also seemed good. She pondered for a moment. Being a lone ranger in a post-apocalyptic world was impossible, so she’d better form a team. This man was worth checking, plus it was easier to sway someone’s heart when you saved them.

She studied the zombies. At the Qi Refining stage, it was all too easy to solve them. She immediately decided to save the man inside.

She stuffed the gun behind her, took out two awls, and rushed forward to kill two zombies neatly with one in each hand, and then two more.

The zombies heard the commotion and found that there was living being closer to them. Then immediately turned towards Chu Xiang. Chu Xiang grabbed the zombie in front of her and flung it into the room next to her. She dodged the hand of another zombie and swept her long legs, tripping over seven to eight zombies. She used one awl and eliminated several in a blink of an eye.

The man in the warehouse was tied to a chair and was trying to cut the rope with a shard of glass. All of a sudden, he heard something different. When he looked up, all the disgusting zombies in the crack of the door turned around, and the sound of fighting outside ensued. He was instantly ecstatic. “Help!”

“Shut up!” Chu Xiang snapped softly and finally rushed to the door.

She tore off the iron bar from the door, turned around and smashed a zombie’s head. She pushed the door and threw a dagger she just found at the man. “Catch!”

The man hurriedly blocked it with his body, then fell to the ground with a chair and got the dagger. His hands had been cut several times by the glass pieces, but he didn’t seem to feel any pain. He quickly cut the rope and forcibly pulled the restraints away.
