"EHHH?" Damien's jaw slacked as he was shocked hearing those words coming from her mouth.
He wondered whether he misheard because he couldn't understand why Valentina would suddenly suggest something like that.
Damien cleared his throat and said, "Valentina, you are just a little girl now. We can't sleep like that."
Valentina's lips quivered, and her eyes became moist as if she was going to cry any moment.
She said in a shaky voice, "Is it because...you don't want t-to be close to me?"
Damien hugged her and said in a gentle tone, "Of course not. What makes you think that sleeping together without clothes is the only way to be closer to someone else?"
Damien wondered what made her suddenly feel that he didn't want to be closer to her.
"B-But...I want to feel Big Brother's warmth...can't I?" She looked at him with tear-filled eyes.
Looking at her puppy eyes Damien's heart melted, and he sighed, "I will think about it when you grow up, okay?"
He thought that what he said would be enough compromise for her as he didn't want to see her cry or let her think that he didn't want to be closer to her.
Valentina's eyes lit up and said with a radiant smile, "Okay! I will remember your promise, Big Brother."
'Promise ehh...' Damien had no idea what he had just gotten into as he had abruptly said something to calm her down. But seeing that she calmed down, he didn't say anything else.
Valentina was now more determined than ever to grow up and be more intimate with Damien.
She now thought that Damien would be more close to her once she grows up.

Only when someone knows something can they use it. Because you never even knew about the existence of a Light elemental seed, it laid dormant in you as you never nurtured it." Lily had a perplexed expression and had a hard time processing all this new and astonishing knowledge.
She now started having a different view about the Law's one can comprehend. She never expected that she possessed talent in one of the Greater Laws.
She looked at Damien with astonishment, thinking where and how he got to know about all these things. But again, she knew he would have told her if it wasn't related to his secrets.
Lily sighed, thinking what would happen if the whole world got to know about this fact? Wouldn't the other empires be even more desperate to make her marry into their family?
