Chapter 523: Possessing Yohr's Origin Seed

Luna's slender eyebrows pulled together, feeling as if Damien's words contained a hidden meaning as she asked, "What do you mean by that? Hmph, whatever. Keep your devious thoughts to yourself. This goddess can't afford to become a mortal lest a pervert like you steps over this goddess."

Seeing Luna wrinkle her nose peevishly, Damien lightly laughed, seeing how she was overthinking stuff.

Luna waved her hand casually as she continued in a stern tone, "Anyway, let's stop wasting any time and quickly do whatever needs to be done. I will make Yohr give you his Origin Seed, after which I will make him surrender his soul essence to Kalypso, which she would share enough to Reva after she wakes up to complete her soul's divine essence. As for the body, I am sure the little spirit sword over here is strong enough to cut through his weakened flesh to take out the ethereal core, which should solidify immediately the moment he dies."

"Hey! Hmph, wait till I become bigger…" Kalypso mumbled in disgruntlement. She felt as if Luna had become an even bigger bully after her merging with the second soul shard. She could only wish that she first regains her true power before Luna and then teach her a lesson.

"Uh…okay, but…won't you exhaust your soul essence by making him surrender all these things?" Damien asked while feeling that Luna was quite frightening to strip Yohr of everything that could be used to benefit him and others though he believed that Yohr deserved it after making him and the others go through all that.

If he wasn't his enemy, Damien would have felt some pity seeing Luna stripping a True God like this.

Luna let out a tired sigh and answered, "Yes, I might, but I gained some soul essence after merging with my second shard, and so I can afford to sacrifice a little. The cost won't be severe since Yohr's state is way worse than mine now. He is basically harmless right now even without my presence."

"What did you do to him to make him like this?" Damien asked curiously.

Luna coldly smirked as she said, "I obliterated the parts of his soul that were connected to his consciousness. Basically, he is nothing but a mindless piece of flesh right now. You can consider that the Yohr we fought against had already died."

"Whew…you really know how to punish someone," Damien subtly broke a sweat seeing how she casually mentioned obliterating someone's consciousness, and it definitely was more painful and cruel than just simply killing them.

What she basically did was that even if Yohr was reborn, he would never have any consciousness no matter how many times he was reborn.

If Yohr knew about this, he would rather wish he didn't exist than suffer perpetual torture like this.

This only made Damien realize again that one can't get fooled by the mesmerizing appearance of Luna and that she was even more ruthless than he expected.

"Alright, but before I start, what powers will I exactly inherit after possessing his Origin Seed?" Damien asked eagerly since whatever powers he could gain was something he always welcomed, especially getting this opportunity after going through a life and death battle.

Luna placed her chin on her hand as she said with a contemplative expression, "Hmm, well, Yohr is a dragon-snake hybrid, to put in simple terms for you. He was not known as the ruler of the seas and the Ancient Azure King of the Frosty Seas for nothing. He was unrivaled in the domain of ice and water. If we had more reserves of ethereal energy, we wouldn't have come out of this without some huge sacrifices, especially since we are standing in a place that was advantageous to him." Luna said in a serious tone, hinting how powerful Yohr was to Damien so that he would understand at least a fraction of Yohr's potential true power.

Even if Damien had no idea of how powerful Yohr was at his peak, he could get an idea if even Luna was telling him that Yohr was no joke in the past.

"So if you are able to possess his Origin Seed successfully, then not only would you automatically gain the power to manipulate water and ice but also undergo a tremendous physical transformation since one of his main traits was his physical prowess, more than his ethereal arts. And his physical traits would include more benefits than you expect, and you will understand once you completely assimilate his powers. Now, inject some of your soul essences into Yohr's soul plane while using your Shackles of Death ability."

"Okay…hope this works…" Damien was feeling excited from within, wondering what all beneficial changes he would experience once he assimilated the Origin Seed of a True God!

He placed his hand on Yohr's head and was slightly astonished to sense that he faced no resistance at all while injecting some of his death essences into Yohr's soul plane that seemed too calm without the slightest ripple. It seemed as if Yohr was literally in a coma, and Damien knew why after Luna explained what she did to his soul.

"Okay, it's done."

"Give him your Origin Seed, now!" Luna commanded, and immediately Yohr's eyes opened wide with an Azure glint as he slowly raised his body, and a bright azure light shot out of his chest and into Damien's chest.

The radiant azure light formed into a small sphere and stayed momentarily in the air before shooting into Damien's chest, making Damien grimace as he felt a raging force of energy flooding his ethereal core like a tsunami.

"Aargh!" Damien suddenly felt an overwhelming amount of pain in his soul as he collapsed to his knees, clutching his chest in pain, not expecting this process to involve so much pain to the point he was feeling as if his ethereal core might explode like a dam.

"Master!" Kalypso worriedly called out and looked at Luna with a frown, "Hey! What is happening with my Master? Why is he under so much distress?!"
