"Luna, Kalypso, are you guys up yet?" Damien asked just to see if they had recovered, but as expected, all he got was silence.
But then he realized that barely a day had passed, and considering how much they sacrificed, especially Luna, during the battle with Yohr, he supposed that they would definitely need more than a day to recover.
As for Valentina, he saw that she was covered in a cocoon of blood strangely enough, but he could sense that her vitals were stable, and her mind seemed to be under deep meditation.
This made Damien facepalm wondering if she woke up yesterday night and saw him pounding Reva all night, and she purposefully remained silent. He could only hope she doesn't get pissed off later for letting her wake up to such a sight.
Still, seeing the bloody cocoon, Damien thought, 'Could she be absorbing Yohr's ethereal core?' Damien remembered Luna saving the ethereal core for Valentina even though the ethereal core would only have Yohr's residual ethereal energy, which was more than enough since it belonged to a god.
"Okay. Time to try the first one. Frosty Barrier of Doom, hmm, let's see if this skill is really as intimidating as it sounds," Damien decided to start off with his newly learned icy, ethereal arts and closed his eyes as he began to focus on executing the first stage.
He knew this skill was to be used as a barrier to protect oneself, but since he wanted to test the specialty of this barrier, his hands moved in a way to manifest it outside of him.
There was a huge stone block in front of him, and icy ethereal energy began to flow out from his hands as they circled around the stone block and transformed into a huge dome-shaped solid ice.
Damien couldn't even see the stone block anymore since the solid ice wasn't even translucent.
'Hmm, this could be great for hiding, at least. Now to test its strength,' Damien thought as he began to charge one of his powerful attacks, 'Searing Strike Rendering Worlds'. Of course, he also activated the second phase of his Undying Wrath as he charged up his jet-black lightning bolt before hurling it towards the icy dome-shaped barrier.
