And if Tristen was going to come to her palace, then it could only mean one thing. Damien was definitely alive!
Lily already believed that nothing bad could happen to Damien, but the feeling of knowing it for sure was what gave her a real sense of peace and happiness.

And the handsome young man being escorted received by the respected elders of the Rong Empire was none other than Tristen Gale, who had a lofty expression on his face, a subtle smirk, and was wearing grand silver robes.
Lily eagerly stood behind the door of the inner courtyard, though on the outside, her expression looked blank and a bit dull as if to subtly show that she didn't want to be here.
She knew she couldn't act too friendly with Tristen since that could arouse suspicions, and so when the doors opened, and she saw Tristen's face, she smiled and said, "Welcome, Prince Tristen. It's a pleasure to see you again."
The elders who were escorting Tristen quickly bowed before closing the doors behind him as they walked away.
The moment the doors closed, Tristen went down on his knees as he bowed and said, "Mistress, I have good news for you. My Master is alive and well. He sent me here to reassure you of this face and also to let you know that he is coming for you soon. He wanted you to know that he won't let anything happen to you as long as he breathes."
