Chunxue smoldered with resentment as she said, “How could you do this to me? You did not even investigate the reality of what happened before making your judgment.”
“Ms. Ye, if you have questions regarding how we are handling the case, you are welcome to complain to the higher authorities. The whole process has been recorded anyway.”
Chunxue was suddenly reminded by the policeman that there was a camera aimed at her. She had been so engrossed in accusing Ye Tianxin that she had forgotten that she was at the police station and that everything that happened there had been recorded.
Chunxue took a deep breath as she tried to calm herself down. She said, “I just filed a police report. Aren’t you going to do anything about it?”
Just then, another policeman walked over and played the footage of the surveillance camera with a flash drive.
“Ms. Ye, the video shows that this is the man who disfigured your face,”
The video was paused at the point when Chunxue was being held in place. The man sat on her body and proceeded to disfigure her face. However, the camera angle wasn’t in the best position to capture the moment when the man disfigured Chunxue’s face.

The policeman then looked at Chunxue and said in a grave tone, “What about you? Do you know this gentleman?”

“Isn’t it very clear now? You know this man, but Ms. Ye here does not.”
