While Li Qingcang and Jing Zhichen went out to look for Gungun, Ye Tianxin stayed in the villa. She was waiting there in case Gungun came home.

When Ye Tianxin entered the bedroom, she could easily smell bamboo. It was such a fragrant aroma that Ye Tianxin closed her eyes in bliss.

The servant looked baffled. “There are no pets in this house.”

“Ms. Ye, Mr. Jing doesn’t like to keep pets.”
“I was just wondering.”
Ye Tianxin stood on the balcony of Gungun’s bedroom and looked out at the garden below. The roses were in full bloom.
There were bursts of red, pink, blue, and white among the green leaves.

It was a pleasant scent.
However, she was not in the mood to admire the flowers now.
She prayed that Gungun had not been taken away by bad people.
