“Ginormous.” I said and kissed her again. “I've got a good idea about your personality now, though.”
“Oh? And what do you think of me?” Red Fury asked, her voice full of warning.
“You have a tough exterior and your emotions keep others at bay... on purpose. You've been hurt like Ming hurt me and you're scared that if you let anyone else get close, you'll be hurt again. It's much easier to antagonize everyone than to let them in.” I said and her mouth opened slightly in surprise. “Thank you for helping me and I hope that I helped you, too. You're a wonderful woman and despite being easy to anger, you have more love inside of you than normal people.”
“That... that last isn't true.” Red Fury whispered.
“Mariposa, it really is.” I whispered back and gently kissed her. “You know how valuable and precious it is... and also how fleeting it can be.”
“Connor, you... how are you so young and know so much?” Red Fury asked.
“Super brain.” I said and knocked on the side of my head while making a hollow log sound with my mouth.
Red Fury snorted and then laughed. “Airhead. Got it.”
I grinned at her and stepped back. “Thank you so much for this weekend. It was the best time.”
“It better not be the last time.” Red Fury said, then she shook her head. “I need to stop saying things like that.”
“You can't help it. This is as new to you as it is to me.” I said and picked up my bag. “See you tomorrow.”
Red Fury let me get to the door before she was suddenly there and pressed me against it. “Connor.”
“I know.” I said and looked into her eyes. “Unfortunately, I've got a little growing up to do before we can get together officially.”
Red Fury's hands roamed over my muscular chest and then down to my erection. “Not much more.”
I smiled. “I'm six feet tall and my dad was six foot four.”
Red Fury looked surprised for a moment, then she put her hand sideways against my forehead and lowered herself to put the top of her head at the bottom of her hand. She looked up slightly into my bright blue eyes.
“I can work with that.” Red Fury said with a pleased smile.
I bent my neck slightly to give her another kiss, this one quite passionately. It lasted for several minutes until she broke it and stepped back.
“Goodbye, Connor.” She whispered and stood at her normal height as she almost looked bashful.
I thought she looked cute, so I told her the secret that I used to stop her momentum. “My mind is so powerful that I am also a telekinetic.”
Red Fury sucked in a sharp breath when she figured it out. “You... you cheated in our log fights!”
I kissed her shocked face before I burst out laughing and ran for it.
