123 A New Order

The renovation of the new house, two new houses at that, was handed over to Qu Zhi. Although there wasn’t much time, Qu Zhi wasn’t willing to leave everything for the most urgent time. She had to prepare for a rainy day, so she started working on the renovation in the next few days.

Not only the new house but also two shops that needed to be renovated. After that, one of them could be rented out. This was also a way to make money. As a result, Qu Zhi’s workload increased again. It had been a long time since she had done any renovations, so it took some effort.

Qu Zhi got busy again. She woke up very early in the morning. She couldn’t sleep and was a little nervous.

When she was free, she would get some facials done. Every time she lay down, all her troubles would be gone, just like charging her battery. After resting enough, the electricity would be fully charged, and she would have the strength to fight again.

On this day, she had just laid down when the cell phone in her bag rang. It was Mrs. Chen.

Mrs. Chen didn’t come to the shop for beauty treatments. She liked to call people to her house to do her face. At the thought of this, she realized she had not seen Qu Zhi for many days.

“Mrs. Qu,” Mrs. Chen’s tone was much gentler than the first time she met her. “Do you have time?”

“I have.” When Qu Zhi heard this, she knew that there was probably another order. A woman like Mrs. Chen wouldn’t be able to get along with Qu Zhi.

This was a good opportunity. After all, Mrs. Chen’s orders would not be light.

“Do you still make silk scarf gift boxes now?” the other party laughed.

As expected.

“What kind of do you want?” Qu Zhi happened to have a business partner with them.

“There’s no hurry. Come to my house for tea, Madam Qu.” Mrs. Chen’s tone was unhurried, as if she was singing.

“An art gallery?” Qu Zhi had a headache. She had never seen a real art exhibition. Even after the year 2000, this term was still very far from her. It seemed to be a place where rich ladies would go when they were free.

“Yes, I organized an art exhibition. They’re all famous French paintings. I believe you’ll like them, so I’d like to invite you to join us.” Mrs. Chen slowly put down the French porcelain cup in her hand. “I want a batch of silk scarves as a gift box. I really liked the gift box from last time. The style was not bad, and the style was suitable.” She felt that this woman, Qu Zhi, was quite capable.

A while ago, Mrs. Chen had heard from her son that Chuchu’s mother was very busy every day and was hiring people. From that, she knew Qu Zhi’s business was doing very well. Although Mrs. Chen hadn’t had much interaction with Qu Zhi, she had already begun to trust her.

However, Mrs. Chen felt her gift box could not be bought on the market. She wanted something unique, something that her customers would remember.

She immediately thought of Qu Zhi.

Mrs. Chen didn’t care about those tacky gift boxes and couldn’t find anyone to customize one for her, but she knew Qu Zhi’s gift box would definitely be able to make them.

“How many sets do you want? What type is it? Can you tell me in detail?” Qu Zhi took out her little notebook and started taking notes. Chuchu had bought this for her. It was a small black book, just like the one the boss’s secretary used in cartoons.

However, her mother was very capable. She didn’t even need a secretary. She did all the work by herself! This was what Chuchu thought. It cost her some money to buy the notebook, but she was very proud.

“Give me… 500 sets first.” Mrs. Chen thought for a moment and smiled at Qu Zhi, her eyes a little unfocused.

She wasn’t too sure herself, but there would probably be two to three hundred people coming to the gallery. There could probably be more, so she ordered more. But it didn’t matter. She believed that she could send the goods that Qu Zhi gave her.

“I also want some tea leaves.” Mrs. Chen added. Qu Zhi’s tea was really good.

Qu Zhi nodded in satisfaction. After the deal was settled, she called Lin He, and Lin He was shocked.

“This Madam is really generous.” Lin He was so busy she had forgotten that she was also a wealthy lady.

“What’s the price?” Lin He asked.

Only then did Qu Zhi realize they hadn’t even discussed the price.

Mrs. Chen didn’t care about the price at all. She only wanted Qu Zhi to do whatever she wanted, so the price was naturally nothing to her.

This order might not be easy, but it was a big deal. Qu Zhi was willing to do it, but it would be hard on the company’s designers.

The gallery’s opening was close at hand, so she had to work overtime.
