[Ding! You have committed a greedy sin. You gain 41 Evil Points!]

[Ding! You have committed a greedy sin. You gain 38…]

[Ding! You have committed a greedy…]

Every item Jake touched went into his inventory. He had specially emptied his inventory for today. Looting someone’s treasury felt good, he should do this more often.

From expensive paintings, utensils to military armor, swords and lances. Gold and silver, mana crystals and low-grade magical items. There were a lot of things. No wonder this baron was rich. The rumors were true.

Jake counted the mana crystals and found that there were exactly 61 high-grade crystals. For a non-caster, this was a huge amount. Even the 2nd Circle mage Alex had to sell everything he had and ask from his friends to get 80 crystals.

After swiping the treasury clean of everything, Jake heard another notification. A big one this time.

[Ding! You have committed a greedy sin. You gain 4,890 evil points!]

With the weapons, Jake could arm his monsters. As for the other things, they could be used in the kitchen and to decorate his room.

”Let’s go,” Jake said. Robbery was the most profitable job, indeed.

Erin now wore a pendant and had a silver cup in her hand. She fancied the pink gem on it. As for the cup, Erin told him she would drink blood in it.

”Noble vampires do things like this, master!” She excitedly said.

”Oh, getting a taste of nobility, are we?”

That day, the servants in the mansion didn’t know that the baron brutally killed one of his wife. Feeling no remorse and actually enjoying the process. He spoke to Eve’s corpse how fortunate she was to die.

Living as an ugly middle-aged woman was not a good thing, was it? Yes, she should be grateful how her husband generously killed her. He was ending her suffering, doing a good thing!

Leo’s hypocrisy fueled his evil nature.

Jake was unconcerned. He and Erin left the mansion at night after having a sumptuous, noble dinner.

He was uninterested in Leo’s second wife, so he spared the man from cucking. After having a decently sized harem of beautiful women, Jake had gotten picky.

That night, he instead learned a lot about the situation of humans in Karsuda province.

It appeared Countess Minerva was the strongest among humans as a 4th Circle Mage. However, that didn’t mean there was only a single 4th Circle individual in the whole of Karsuda province.

There were 11 cities here and every city had a 3rd Circle human at least. C and B-Rank adventurers came by occasionally. Almost all of them were of the 4th Circle.

Other than humans, there were elves living in the largest forest of Grimbow kingdom, the Moonlight Forest. It was quite close to the Karsuda province.

Jake was sure they also had some powerhouses with them. It seemed conquering this place wouldn’t be that easy.

‘I have to take things meticulously. With this baron corrupted, there is a gateway to change the faith of the people in this town. I just have to deal with the parish church here.’

These thoughts went through Jake’s mind as he pulled the horses’ reins and left the Rustfall city. He had left the baron with many orders on how to act in the following months.

Jake and Erin went back to the dungeon after traveling through half of Karsuda.

Viscountess Aella had gone to the capital city. She had no fief and lived in Orlando. Despite that, her influence in the lower strata of nobility was high. She knew many people among the higher-ups as well.

At present, Jake didn’t want to go anywhere near the capital where bishops walked the streets.

After the 3rd Circle, a priest would be elevated to the status of a bishop. They would have access to potent divine spells which could purge any evil creature instantly.

Going there was a lot more dangerous. Jake didn’t plan to die foolishly. Corrupting Aella Springster was vital, but he would have to wait until she returned.

The demon and the vampire finished their small trip in two days.

Inside the dungeon, Lena welcomed her master. Jake distributed all the weapons he gained from the baron’s treasury to his monsters.

Swords, spears, axes, shields… These weapons increased the combat capacity of monsters such as lizardmen and orcs.

As for his servants, Jake had bought them weapons from his system which were generally superior in quality.

Inside his chamber, he dumped the luxurious household items he gained. Calling Rose, Niru, Riri and Elena, he told them to decorate his and their rooms with these items.

While they started working, Jake sat on the bed. He idly opened the system shop and started scrolling through it.

He had made this somewhat of a habit. Today, he wasn’t expecting anything, but he suddenly stood up seeing something in the [Abilities] section.

“Finally!” Jake immediately clicked on an icon. He had been searching for this for weeks!

[Skill: Flight (lvl. 1)]

[Grade: Unique (Low)]

[Description: This ability combines two types of magic. Earth magic to create an anti-gravity field around the user’s body. Wind magic to move through the air.]

[Cost: 3,500 Evil Points]

[Usage Cost: 0.01 mana/second]

Jake was shocked seeing the usage cost. It was quite low compared to what he was expecting. He bought it and immediately clicked the [learn] button.

[Ding! Congratulations, you have learned the skill [Flight].]

As the system’s notification appeared, a whole lot of information about how to use this magic flooded Jake’s mind.

Other people would have their minds break because of it, but Jake had high intelligence. He quite understood how to use this skill now.

However, he suddenly realized that he shouldn’t learn high-ranked skills before his attributes matched them.

This system wasn’t sentient and it wouldn’t tell him if he would accidentally die. Jake would have to be more careful while using it.

He stood up and dismissed the system panel. Jake looked at his maids humming and doing their jobs.

Walking outside of his room, he came to a wide area and glanced upward. There was a large hole from which a small amount of light was coming.

Jake stretched his right hand towards it and used the skill he learned just now.

Whoosh!
