Everyone covered the area around the tree with grass. The tree glistening in the strong sunlight, the carpet of greenery, and the waterway running between them. ...... is a wonderful place, isn't it?

Especially, the shaded area by the spirit trees looks very comfortable. I wonder if the place in Hawaii where the tree looks like this is also like this.

......I've never been to Hawaii, but as a Japanese, I think I should have been there. I wonder how many Japanese have actually been to Hawaii?

I have an image that celebrities often go to Hawaii, and it is a staple of overseas travel. ...... No, but is that a thing of the past? But I hear a lot about weddings in Hawaii.

When you get out of the airport in Hawaii, a beautiful hula girl will greet you and give you a lei, right? I have an image of a flower ring around my neck and a kiss on my cheek.

Now I'm starting to get curious. Am I going to live in another world with this stupid conundrum for the rest of my life? ...... forget it. I'll force myself to forget. I don't want to have these problems for the rest of my life.

Well, I'm planning to build a forest next, but after seeing a scene like this, I'd like to relax a little. Let's play with the belles and feel refreshed.

"We're going to take a short break, everyone. I'll serve snacks and drinks and we can relax for a while."

We set out a table with sandwiches, tea, and juice for casual eating.

"Yuta, do you have any alcohol?"

"No."

If we serve alcohol here, it is obvious that a short break will turn into a party till the night. Pretending not to notice Dine's disappointment, I call everyone together for a simple tea party of sorts.

I'm busy picking sandwiches, feeding Belle skewers, feeding Rain a very thick sandwich, pouring drinks for Tulu, and fluffing Tamamo.

"Master, can I help you?"

"Hmm? No, it's okay. Don't worry about me, Sara and the others need to communicate well with Huku and the others. The most important thing is to share various experiences and strengthen the bond with the contracted spirits.

"I understand. I'll do my best to get to know you better. Kikka too!"

Whew, that was close. I just wanted a change of pace, so I was just leaving Belle and the others alone, but as a teacher I can't say that.

As I watched Sara and the others taking good care of Fukuchan and the others, I felt relieved and patted my chest. Communication is really important, and I'm not lying. So there should be no problem.

After the lively tea party, we go into the shade of the spirit tree and lie down on the newly grown grass. I haven't laid down on the grass since I was a college student. Since I came here, I've been forced to enjoy the harsh nature, but I prefer to be in a place with a little human touch like this place.

It's a relief to see kids playing on the grass after they've had their sandwiches and are satisfied. I feel like a father completely. Sarah and the kids are starting to show their childish side, and they're getting fatter since they've been eating a lot of food. I'm sure they will grow up a lot from now on.

I've come to another world and as far as I'm concerned, I'm not going to meet anyone. I think I'll just let them call me father and spend the rest of my life raising my children in a leisurely manner. I think I and other people would be happier to live a slow life in the land of the dead than to go out to the countryside and cause trouble.

.................. No, wait. No, wait...that's a bad idea. I don't want a harem anymore, I want a wife at least. I want to get a very beautiful wife and live a slow life of lovemaking in the land of the dead.

I've been thrown out into the harsh land without knowing why. I can't die without seeing a little good. We must create an ideal living environment in the land of the dead and live our lives with a smile on our faces.

"Yuta, your expression is busy being happy and sad, what's wrong?"

I was idly thinking about my happy future, and before I knew it, Sylphy was peering into my face. I was a little embarrassed.

"I was just thinking about what I've been doing since I got here. I never imagined that I could lie down on the grass. I did pretty good."

I know it's self-praise, but I think I can give myself a pat on the back. A nap on the grass under the shade of a spirit tree in a dead land where not even grass grows. If only I had a wife, I'd be on the winning side.

"Hmm, you're right. I think Yuta did a pretty good job.

He praised me. In reality, not much time has passed that I can recall, but my life has been pretty intense, so I am honestly happy to hear the praise.

I spend a leisurely time, watching over Sarah and her friends rolling around on the lawn, and Belle and her friends happily flying around in the greenery. The more comfortable Fountain House becomes, the more I feel motivated to have a good time like this. It's time to start building a forest.

"Dolly, we're going to add another block of woods, where would you like it?"

"Well, the closer to the spirit tree, the better the forest will be, so I think a place adjacent to it would be good."

It is said that if the trees become more accustomed to the soil over time, it will be a matter of margin of error to build a forest anywhere in the base, but for now, it is better to build a forest adjacent to the base.

"Well, let's make a forest at the back of the tree. I'm going to release small animals into the forest eventually, so I'd like a tree that produces fruit for food.

"Okay. I will prepare it for you.

Everyone thanks Dolly, who smiles at them, and moves to the block behind the spirit tree.

"Now, plant the seeds that Dolly has prepared here, while listening to Tamamo. Sarah and the others are new to this, but if you bring the seeds you want to plant in front of Tamamo, she will guide you."

After my explanation, everyone but the Great Spirit lines up in front of Tamamo. Tamamo is doing a great job today. Tamamo is so happy to be flying in the sky that she even flicks her tail and even her buttocks while walking in the air.

Actually, it seems that if you ask Dolly to do everything for you, she can produce seeds in the ground and let them grow. For a moment, I thought it would be easier to do that, but then I decided to go through the trouble because I felt more attached to the forest if everyone was involved in its creation. The children seem to be enjoying it, so I am sure I am right. Well, I'm going to plant some seeds.

I join in and plant seeds one by one while Tamamo shows me where to plant them. It's funny how much it hits my back. It's unreasonable that my back can still take damage even though I've become a man who can slay dragons.

Or maybe it's just my belief that my back hurts when I do this kind of work. Next time I do farm work, I'll try to believe that it's impossible for my back to hurt.

"Now you have planted all the seeds. Dory, please. You guys get behind me."

Dolly nods in agreement with my request, steps forward, and with a wave of her hand, sprouts from the seeds we've planted.

Apparently, he doesn't even need to wave his hand, but he does it to make it easier for me to see. Sylphy told me while we were drinking that the decision was made after consulting with the Great Spirits before. I appreciate your concern very much.

The last time they grew a tree for me was when it had grown to a certain size, so this is the first time I've seen this scene. I've been growing the tamamos in sections, but Dolly can easily grow a whole block at a time, which is amazing. Sarah and the others were amazed at the sight in front of them.

I wave my hand once more, and the buds that had sprouted grow rapidly and become a magnificent forest. I thought last time that with this ability, I could be a lumber merchant. I won't do it, though, because being an adventurer is more lucrative.

I'm done. Now all you have to do is the same as before and ask Nomos for help.

"Thank you, Dolly. I'm sure the soil is nutritious. Nomos, can you get it out now?"

The rapid growth of the trees is taking away the power of the soil, so it is necessary to add some nourishing forest soil.

Well, the sooner the better, so let's get it done now. Let's get the forest soil out there.

I do as Nomos tells me, and I pour out new soil from the magic bag, and it moves around, mixing with the soil that has been deprived of nutrients. The soil that has lost its strength is carried to another block, where it is restored over time by the nomos. The healthy soil around the base will increase rapidly, and eventually a large forest will become a dream.

But we hardly use the blocks we have cleared. I'm sure there will be more and more healthy soil in the future, and we need to think about how to use the empty blocks.

After we finish mixing the soil, we thank Nomos and have a little late lunch. I had a sandwich for a snack, so I guess it's just as well.

What to do after lunch? I sent Sara and the others to the nest yesterday, so we'll train here today, and I don't have ...... much to do.

I heard that the forest needs a little more time to bear fruit before we can go get small animals, and I haven't decided what to do with the other blocks yet. I'll just have to make the wood more usable until I can come up with something else.

Even if we can't build a house, we can get something better and faster if we buy a warehouse or a simple piece of furniture since we have ...... money. We don't need a warehouse since we have a magic bag, so seriously, what are we going to do?

Well, I can't find anything ...... clear-cut to do, so let's think carefully about what we're going to do. In fact, there are a lot of things missing in Izumi's house. If we think a little, we can find a lot of things we need to do.

Hmm? .................. I remember that Dolly can produce seeds, right? I think I can do something very important ...... for me. Sharpen your senses. If it works, I have a feeling that happiness is coming. ...... rice?
