I have looked around the site and it seems to be progressing well. It's not exactly a simulation game, but it's fun to see the place slowly taking shape.

I entered the distillery with a bit of a grin on my face, and found Dine with Nomos. It seems that she is advising Nomos on the process of changing from liquid to gas, and from gas to liquid, as a water spirit.

She is a great spirit, and I am sure she has the insight to do so, but this intellectual side of her makes me wonder.

"Oh, Yuta. This is the new distiller. What do you think?"

Nomos noticed me and spoke to me, pointing at the distiller. It was about three times the size of the first distiller. Good ...... because looking at the behavior of the Great Spirits, I was prepared to have a distiller the size of the distillery's limit.

I guess this size will not be a problem. Well, I am sure that they will be gradually getting bigger and bigger, but if they will take it step by step, we should be able to cope with it. Maybe .......

"Yeah, it's great, but is there any problem with strength?"

"Yes, the glass is thicker, but it's not a problem in terms of strength. Now we can distill all the ocean-aged liquors at once.

"Hmmm, don't worry, my sister will find the perfect place for it."

Nomos and Dine in a good mood. It seems that ocean aging has already been decided. I have a vague knowledge that even if there is no effect, there is the effect of aging over time, and since sake and wine are also aged in the ocean, it should be fine.

"If the strength is not a problem, I will serve the sake I bought later. And Dine, I would appreciate it if you could find several places to put the sake at different depths.

"Yes, I don't mind if you start distilling now.

"Okay. Leave it to your sister. I'll make sure I find a good place.

Hmmm, I could see a future where Dine would forget where she put the alcohol. ...... You don't forget where you put the alcohol, do you? I'm sure I'll get in trouble if I treat them the same way I treat squirrels, but I'll give them a heads up.

"Deanne, there are several places to put the liquor, and you don't want to lose track of them.

"I'll never forget where the booze is!"

Deane is confident. She's confident.

"That's all right then. And nomos, can you do me a favor before the distillation?

"What is it?"

"In order to make a contract with the fire spirit, I was wondering if I could use this magic wand and modify it so that the tip of the wand always spews flames?"

I ask Nomos while handing him the magic wand. Nomos picks up the wand and begins to examine something. After examining the wand from top to bottom, he looks up.

"Well, it is a good quality wand. It is possible with a good quality magic stone, with some modifications to the magic circle and the circuitry. But when the power of the magic stone runs out, you will have to replace it. And you will not be able to use it in battle. Is that all right with you?

It is a wand from the depths of the labyrinth, so it must be of good quality. I do have a desire to wave a magic wand and create magic in battle, but I still have the lightning wand, so that's not a problem. And if we can find treasure chests at the current pace, we can find new wands in the labyrinth.

"I don't have a problem with not being able to use it in battle, but what kind of good quality magic stone is there? Also, what's the pace of the exchange?"

The magic stone of the assault dragon is enough. The time it takes to replace it depends on the size of the fire in the magic wand, but it should last more than ten years as long as the flame is not made too large to be meaningless.

Hmmm, I have a lot of assault dragons in my magic bag, and if they last more than ten years, I should be fine. But the magic stones of A rank demons are quite expensive. ...... Hmmm, well, there are a lot of them, so it's okay. It is more important to welcome the spirits in a proper facility.

I heard that the fire spirits that Sylphy calls will be happy if we welcome them at the distillery, but we don't want the floating spirits who make a contract with Gina to live in the smell of alcohol from an early age.

Come to think of it, I wonder if I'm going to make a contract with a lower class fire spirit too? If he is a friend of Sylphy's, he must be a great spirit, and if I ask him during a normal battle, I feel that it will be over too easily and I won't be able to experience it. I'll have to discuss this with Sylphy later.

"Yes, no problem. How long will it take you to modify it?

"Well, it shouldn't take more than an hour. Oh, and I'll need a small amount of mithril to modify the circuitry.

"Then do me a favor. The size of the fire should be as large as the fire spirits feel comfortable with."

I ask him to do so while handing him the magic stone and mithril of the assault dragon. I will also put out five barrels of ale. They will start distilling on their own. ...... if you don't drink.

"Okay."

Now we are on the verge of welcoming the spirit of fire. Now we just need to figure out where to put the magic wand. We ask Nomos what form the fire will take and think of a building.

At first I thought of building a lighthouse out of rocks, but there is only a rocky hill to shield us in this dead land. It would be pointless to arouse someone's curiosity if the flames are seen from a distance.

I don't think it would be visible on the continental side, but on the sea side, if there is a shipwreck or if someone likes to take a route around the land of the dead, there is a possibility of being seen. Well, it's too late to be too careful, since the spirit tree could be found during the daytime.

However, I can't think of any other outside facility that uses flames other than a lighthouse. I thought about building a blacksmithing furnace like Mel's place, but I heard that nomos can work metals without fire. We have magic tools to boil water for baths, and finally, we decided that a distillery would be the best place to use the flames for something, so we gave up on the idea of using flames.

"Okay, I've made up my mind. We'll make a platform like that between the house and the fountain and set up a wand.

Sylphy, Dine and Nomos are looking at me with indescribable expressions. They look like they don't know what we've been talking about. It's no wonder we couldn't come up with any ideas. I'd like to say out loud that discussions don't always come up with great ideas.

I'll go make it right away. Nomos, I want you to modify the cane."

I quickly leave the distillery before they say anything else.

"So, what kind of stand is that?"

"Hmm? Well, I can't make anything too elaborate, so I'll make a simple cobblestone pavement and put a stone platform on top of it, and insert the cane into it. The spirits Sylphy calls for me, don't they like fancy things?

My first thought was to make a cave-like cavern and insert it into the rock. I imagined a rock with a holy sword stuck in it, which only a brave man can pull out, but I decided not to make a cave because of the staff and the flames.

"Well, I'm not the type of person to be too concerned about my surroundings, so as long as it's on fire, it's fine. Also, I think I'll stay at the distillery while they're distilling the liquor."

"...... Roger. Well, there are floating spirits that Gina contracts with, and there will be times when they are not distilling, so I'll make them."

It's nice to know that I don't have to put in too much effort. Then let's get on with it. How big should the cobblestones be? Two meters is too small, so let's make it four meters.

We take a rock out of the magic bag and cut it into a square of one meter square with the magic saw. It should be 30 centimeters thick.

"Speaking of which, am I going to make a contract with a lower class spirit of fire?

I ask Sylphy while cutting out the rock. Up until now you couldn't make a contract with the Great Spirit, so you brought the lower class spirits with you, but what happens now that you can make a contract with them?

"Yuta, you're a great guy. If Yuta wants to make a contract with a lower level fire spirit, I will bring him to you."

...... Hmmm, that's a tough one. The less we have to rely on the big spirits in battle, the less we have to rely on the big spirits, the more it helps to have lower class spirits of fire. The question is whether it will not exceed my capacity.

I'm going to make a contract with the spirit of life, too, and I think it will be hard. Especially the lower level spirits, they are nice and cute, but they are very energetic. ...... If it becomes like a kindergarten, will I be able to take care of them?

"...... I'll ask Belle and the others before I have Sylphy pick up the fire spirits. If they are happy to have more friends, I'll ask them."

"Hmm, okay."

Somehow I feel like I know the answer before I ask, but it's a good push to make up my mind.

"I know it's a little late for this, but are you sure about the magic? When you sign a lot of contracts, there's always a lot of magic flowing into the spirits, right? Won't they dry up as their numbers grow?"

"Yuta usually uses very little magic power, not to mention when he makes a contract. I adjust the amount of magic power that flows into my body when I can afford it, and when I can't afford it, I use less. You have not felt any physical discomfort since your level has been raised, right? But in Yuta's case, he doesn't really use magic, so he can afford to get enough magic."

......It is true that there are no opportunities to use magic, or perhaps the only magic that is used properly is the magic of daily life. When I can use a magic wand, I will have more chances to use magic. And defeat the Ghost and the Wraith.

"Okay, well, you'll let me know if I'm in danger. Also, before you go to bed, you can take some extra magic with you to keep you from getting sick."

When I fight, I only swing a hammer or a saw. It hardly matters whether I have magic or not.

"Yes, I'll take it. Thank you, Yuta.

Sylphy smiles. It's a good thing I'm giving away my magic. As we talk, I quickly cut out sixteen rocks. Now I just need to get them all on the ground before I lay them out. I summoned Tulu to my mind, and he appeared before me.

"Tulu, I'm sorry to interrupt your tour. I need you to level four meters from here. Can you do that?

"Yes, I can."

Tulu nodded his head. In no time at all, he had the ground leveled.

"Thank you, Tulu. You can go back now, but tell Belle and the others it will be lunchtime in a little while.

Tulu nodded again. I pat him on the head and send him on his way. He lays out the cobblestones on top of the soil Tulu has prepared for us. A rectangular rock is cut out and placed vertically in the center of the pavement, and a hole is drilled with a hand auger for the cane to be placed.

Now, we have a good shape. It would be cool to have a craftsman make a stone statue with a staff in its hand. Maybe we can ask for a statue of a beautiful goddess.
