The middle-aged man grit his teeth and turned pale before he spoke. “Your father, Undying Yushan, is fine. We were deceived by him and didn’t manage to hurt him in the slightest.”
Wendy continued glaring at him. “I already know that, but that’s not what I wanted to hear.”
“You might be a disciple of Ten Thousand Swords Peak, but I’m still not someone you should provoke. I’ve also got someone-” But before the middle-aged man could finish his words, Wendy killed him with a single blow. He had been a Cruiser, albeit seriously injured, and had still been very powerful.
