When they got to the room Qiao Qing slept in, Jun Yexuan saw the blood on the bedsheet and without a second word, he carried her next door, to where he slept.
During those moments, Qiao Qing’s slippers had disappeared.
Jun Yexuan gently put her down onto the bed and wrapped her in a blanket. He leaned in and said directly above her, “I dare you to try and run away again.”
Qiao Qing really thought this guy was unpredictable when it came to his mood. Before she even got to tell him she was thirsty, this man had left her side and was now searching around the room.
After some time, he left the room.
Qiao Qing sighed, pondering over what Jun Yexuan meant when he said what he said by the stairs.
After about 10 minutes, just as Qiao Qing was hazily falling asleep again, she heard the door open.
First was footsteps approaching. Next was a thump was heard on the bed stand.
After that, her blanket was lifted up and a warm object was shoved in by her cold feet.
Qiao Qing twisted her head to peek and saw that Jun Yexuan had now placed a Pikachu stuffie onto her stomach. It was warm as well.
She kicked her blanket and saw that by her feet was an angry bird stuffie. Similar to the Pikachu stuffie, they were both irresistibly cute. She couldn’t help but fall into confusion.
“Mu Jinghang picked those out,” Jun Yexuan explained to make sure she knows these things weren’t to his taste.
Then, he fixed the blanket for her and pulled her into his arms.
He picked up the brown sugar water off the table and pushed it against her lips, “I tested the temperature, it’s not too hot.”
Qiao Qing lowered her gaze to look at his hands. She couldn’t help but grip onto her blanket.
At first sight, Qiao Qing had thought that Jun Yexuan’s hands were as perfect and flawless as his face.
His fingers were long and lean and smooth like jade – these were too pretty to even be a hand model.
This pair of hands that were perfect for piano playing had grown a few cysts.

Jun Yexuan saw that she wasn’t drinking so his handsome face grew a shade darker. He demanded, “You want me to feed you another way?”
Qiao Qing knew right away that he misunderstood her again. Without explaining anything, she picked it up and drank it.
After she was done, Jun Yexuan grabbed a tissue and wiped her lips, “Why are you in such a rush? Were you thirsty? There’s more downstairs. Do you want it?”
Qiao Qing shook her head, “There’s no need.”
“Okay.” Jun Yexuan nodded and put the cup away. Then, he helped her back down into a lying position.
Qiao Qing patted the Pikachu stuffie and said, “Thank you.”
Jun Yexuan froze for a moment, then turned around, “How about you thank me using a different method?”
Qiao Qing didn’t understand, “What?” Jun Yexuan didn’t speak. He lifted the blanket and rolled himself in. He stared at the wide-eyed Qiao Qing and said, “Sleep with me.”
Qiao Qing didn’t even think twice, “No! Get out!”
Jun Yexuan didn’t budge and said matter-of-factly, “There’s only one guest bedroom. You made it dirty. If you don’t let me sleep here, where do I sleep?”
Qiao Qing’s face had an awkward and embarrassed look, but she still said, “Can’t you change the bedding? There are clean ones in the closet!”
Jun Yexuan’s tone was all seriousness, “I don’t know how to make the bed.”

She inhaled deeply and got ready to leave, “I’m going back.”
