Max smiled at Eren and his friends and thanked them for switching over to help.
The group consisted of a total of six including Eren.
Riser was the one with spike brown hairs and had wielded fire variant. His Twin Sister, Rias was a Water Variant. They were quite famous actually. After all, it was rare to have one child with affinity in common people and here there were two with fire and water variants. Not to mention, they had trained to the peak of the High Tier and could hold onto a lesser celestial together. This was without any significant background which was more than enough to tell about their natural talent…
Aside from them, the big blurry guy almost rivaling Kevin in physique was Valko. He had an earth element and was from the blacksmith department like Max. Even though his combat skills were not that good, he was quite skilled with his hammer reaching the 4★ Blacksmith category. Even Max was surprised because he hardly heard about any students at 4★ since the current syllabus couldn't determine if someone had reached that level of skill….
The guy with a wide smile and afro was Terry. He was a wind element user and used a bow as his main weapon.
The dark skin dude with compact muscles was Zenith, he wielded a long handed axe and had a Beastmen Variant. The guy seemed to have a naturally naturally irritated look on his face. He definitely wouldn't want this guy to come in front of Wilson. Even though he was in the Mage Department, he took classes from the formation department as well and was planning to go both the ways….
The last guy with his hairs hanging down his face and covering half of his face like a H*ntai Anime protagonist was Garth. He wielded a spear and had a wind variant as well.
These guys had all fought that day during the chaos by Eren's side. After all, it wasn't everyday that you get to thrash the Nobles and get away with it. Those b*stards had made the first unreasonable move that day and it was too large of a scale for anyone to face any major consequences….
"I am so happy to finally meet you…" Rias said in excitement as she stood in front of Max almost shivering.
"She is your die hard fan….it was her idea to create the fan club…" Eren said with a smile.
"Will you stop with that already? That's Self Defense Alliance we created to protect us…..not a fan club…'' Riser said with a smile before shifting his gaze at Max.
"But still it really felt good when you kicked that guy….I have been holding it back for so long…" He further said with a smile.
"Hey!! Didn't I tell you the name sounds uncool? How can we have such a name with a leader like him?" Terry interrupted and Max was taken back in surprise.
When did he become their leader?
Max looked at Eren who was somewhat avoiding his eyes.
He was guilty of the sin. He had just flaunted more than needed about his friendship with Max and when the people around asked for Max to join their alliance. He just nodded without care. Even if Max joined the alliance, it wasn't like they could force him to do anything. But before he realised, somehow Max ended up with the position of the leader of the alliance.
Mark who was the leader of the commoner alliance earlier, stepped down when people questioned him if he was stronger than Max. After all there were many people who didn't favor Mark as he had quite a few friends in the noble circle. On the other hand Max was a Noble killer..he killed his own after deciding that the person was wrong...he was more deserving....
"Can I get a selfie?" Rias asked as she looked at Max.
"Umm...sure…" Max nodded and closed in from behind.
But the next moment, he felt a piercing gaze on his back. When Rias was done, Max turned around only to see Lisa standing at the door looking at him.
"Do I come later? You seem to be busy?" She said, giving Rias a look.
Rias's look changed as well. She didn't have any feud with Lisa but it was just that she didn't have a good impression of nobles in general.
"Come in, everyone will be here in a few minutes…" Max smiled wryly.
Within a few minutes everyone gathered except for Axel and Beli.
Max looks at Lear for answers but he just shrugged.
"Am I late?"
Beli entered the room with a smile. She was wearing a long sleeve top with gloves in her hand. It seemed she really couldn't bear the cold…
Max looked at her.
Did she really have a breakup?
Right after her, another figure entered the room with a deathly aura around him. His eyes had dark circles around and his hairs were messy. He looked like a dead man. There was a bright red palm print on his face….
It was indeed Axel...
He really wanted to die after what had happened….he was too ashamed to live anymore…
As for why he had a palm print on his face….well, the break up happened over the phone in the morning. When Beli arrived, he once again seeked her out in person for apologising before ending up like that...
"You fine...bro…" Max asked after a bit of hesitation.
Axel looked at Max and nodded.
Max's brows twitched. He almost wanted to scream, 'Stop crying then!!! We have more important things here!!!'
"We have more important things here. You know right…..besides, mistakes happen..let's focus on what we have on hand here...ok.." Max tried to lift his spirit.

Max sat on the couch and Rias immediately took one of his sides with a smile.
Lisa frowned looking at the girl fawning over him. When she was about to take the other seat next to Max, someone else beat her to it.
"You don't mind me sitting here...right?" Beli asked Max.
Max looked at Axel who was sitting all alone, but still nodded. He couldn't say no after all…
Lisa's face twitched as she looked at Max. The guy dared to use force to beat her up but now look at him smiling all over just because two girls were a bit sweet with him…
In the end, she took a seat beside Wilson who only glanced at her once.
"Last time, Orca went up with a group battle…in a disaster city setting..." Mark said as he looked at everyone.
"They thoroughly decimated their opponents...with an overwhelming might...see for yourself…" He said and played the footage that they were able to borrow from the Headmaster.
"Last time, the top students from top 6 Academies were all around Advance Tier...and a few had reached the peak…so the main participants were around High Tier..."
