Venue Point Hotel, Trinity.

Max faced Elly who was finally asleep. No one could say what was going through his head. He just sat there looking at her for a good while before slowly removing his hand from her grasp and walking out of the room.

Even if these people had nothing to do, it doesn't mean he was free as well.

The only problem was Lear's mother. If she left in his absence then that would be troublesome. In the end, he pulled out a clone from his body and tasked it with being on a look out. The current life clone was capable to stay out for an hour while engaging in some kind of activity and for two hours if it was just on stand by. It was clear that the ability was nowhere near at its true capacity yet. As at the current level, Max should be able to manipulate his clown for a month or two according to Andriel.

But this was the best he could do now, the clone would intercept Lesia and tie her down in case she tried to leave. This will give Max enough time to return. And just to be extra sure, Max asked the receptionist to inform him immediately if any of his people were to leave the place.

With that, Max left the Hotel…

Mercenary District, Trinity.

Max's first job was to establish the group here. As for the main purpose of his visit, well something odd was going on for sure. He hadn't received any instructions as of yet and had started to feel that something was off about it.

When Max reached the place, he didn't need to search for long and immediately found the person he had came looking for. But the sight of the person waiting made his eyes widen in surprise. He really had no idea how in hell did Bahamut got this girl on his side.

"I clearly wasn't expecting you," Her voice was filled with a hint of surprise as well.

She was Caira Roxley, and she was the granddaughter of the Geat Elder of the Roxley House. Melan Roxley's elder sister. She was there senior in the Academy.

She was nice and sweet looking person with h

green hairs and a slim figure. She really did seemed like a big sister type character.

Max had only seen her around once in Orca as there was really a lack of interaction between the upper years and the junior years.

"You have been breaking out headlines recently but this was really out of expectation," She said with a smile while looking at Max. Bahamut had informed her that another one of the five like him would be visiting Trinity and she was supposed to help him but she had never thought that it would be Max.

After all, unlike Bahamut who had been hiding, Max had exploded like a shooting star. But in truth, if Bahamut was to come out, Max would really be sidelined because the kid was indeed a monster.

"Follow me, I have got the place secured, we just need you to officially begin our operations. I can't show myself as my family keeps a strong eye on every new power emerging within the territory here," She said and then led Max inside the building which had been recently bought using their funds and was under preparation for their grand opening.

"How did you come to meet that kid?" Max couldn't help but ask looking at her.

As soon as she heard that Caira's face twitched. It didn't seem that it was a good memory to her at all.

"I had been into an incident with Demons and lost my friend. I know that person who attacked was somehow different but people didn't seem to understand it as there was no knowledge about this group out in the public domain. So, I tried to search out for them but didn't got much in my hands."

"But then one day, I started receiving leads from some unknown person and it led me to discovering much more about the world and widened my perspective."

"I don't know how the little guy found out about me, but he definitely lured me in. He even sent Elder Giant in his place and I thought it was all along him who had been helping me out. I was initially suspicious of his intentions and thought that he wanted use my position to affect my family."

"It was indeed true but slowly I understand that it was not just that. Instead they wanted me to use my position to prevent my family from going in the wrong directions. After all, standing together with Union was definitely no good for us. After I realize that, I decided to join them with trust and you could expect my shock when I found that the Senior Giant was just a puppet being controlled by the little guy."

"So, you agreed to be under him that easily?" Max asked with a smile. He didn't think it would be that easy, especially considering the prideful personality of the nobles.

"No….I went ahead and challenged him saying that he wasn't capable of ordering me around." Caira shook her head and sighed as gee face turned sullen.

It didn't seem like there was anything to talk more about it. It was obvious from her face that Bahamut had shattered her pride. If Max was not wrong, she should have been stronger then Bahamut back when she face him because she was currently at the late staged of Expert Tier.

And if she still lost miserably, it could only mean that she had paid the price of underestimating the little monster. Because if you took a strong hit from Bahamut then it was very easy to lose yourself in the kid's momentum and get pounded to death. And she indeed looked like one of the victims.

The two talked a bit as they got onto their job and with Max here the entire process was taken care of smoothly.

"By the way, you better be careful, my aunt, the lady of the house has got her eyes on you. I heard she was asking about you..." Caira suddenly warned Max. "I think she will be calling you soon..."

"Is it?" Max asked with a smile, "Then I will be looking forward to it..."

He indeed was looking forward to it, he had to prepare a gift for Lear after all.
