"You guys really couldn't have come up with anything better?" Elly asked with a sigh.

"What were we supposed to in that short time?" Lisa lamented.

"Well, just act normal. Let's just pretend that everything is fine, and there is nothing wrong. We will make the incident sound like it was not as serious as they thought it to be," Elly looked at as she explained it to her, "And you need to pretend that it is the matter of the past, and you are able to laugh it off now."

Lisa nodded.

"One more thing, we will bring it up only if someone else asks, and not be the one to initiate the conversation." Elly further added.

"I know," Lisa understood that as well.

With that, the two just began to wash their hands when. After all, if Aria was really suspicious she would go to any length to find the truth out. They knew the girl well. Once she decided on something, there was no going back at it at all.

"By the way, who is Andriel?" Elly suddenly asked as she continued to set her hair while looking in the mirror.

On the other side, Lisa seemed to have been frozen to the spot. And, cold sweat began to pour down her face.

She didn't know about it right?

Lisa didn't know what to do if she really was aware of the incident. It was embarrassing, and then would Elly think of her as some kind of….

"Don't worry, I already had accepted you into the equation on the first day. But, not this person," Elly said with helpless look on her face, when she saw Lisa avoiding eye contact.

"But, how could you just allow some other girl to barge in like that? You should have stopped it." Elly further added with a frustrated expression on her face.

Lisa opened her mouth, but she had no words to retort. She was indeed weird to have no problem with it. Well, Andriel was weird as well. But, she was some kind of alien species.

"Well, I don't think I should say that to you. After all, your consent brought me into this equation in the first place…" Elly suddenly said in realization.

Lisa began to sweat even more on realizing it as well.

"You are just too content." Elly shook her head, "Don't tell me you suffered some kind of trauma in the past that made you think like this?"

Lisa shook her head with a face which was almost about to cry, "I don't think so. Besides, is there really such a trauma in which people are happy just having the person they love by their side?"

"Look at you. You have become so brazen to say that you love him right in front my face," Elly said with a smile.

Lisa blushed a bit, but still held her head high. Elly already seemed to be aware of much more, so what was up with telling it in front of her that she liked Max.

"So, you two talked about it? Did something happen?" Lisa asked, looking at her. If she knew about the incident, then Max was the only person who could have told her about it. And, she knew how tough Max could be to deal with.

"Hello?" Lisa waved her hand in front of Elly seeing her go into a daze.

"Uhh.." Elly looked at Lisa, then shook her head, "N-No n-nothing happened.."

"I see..." Lisa muttered as she looked at her.

"Where in hell is he?" Max muttered with a frown as he entered the alley nearby the Peddlers Street.

The alleys here were dark and creepy as usual. There were often people walking around with scary looking faces. Some had alcohol bottles while some had cigarettes' in their hands. Alley's were not a path a gentle man would take, but Max didn't even know how many times he had taken these alleys in recent times.

Saving the world really needed one to sacrifice their gentleman side.

As Max continued to walk deeper in the alley, the place became more and more deserted. An eerily silence began to envelop the surroundings and Max couldn't help, but frown at it. He didn't think that Naze would be trying to lure him into a trap. But, was he 100 percent sure about it?

Probably not..

"Here!!"

A voice entered Max's ear, and he turned his head towards the source of voice, and saw Naze waving his hand in the distance.

Well, it didn't seem to be a trap.

"What happened?" Max walked up to the guy, and looked at him with a frown.

He remembered Naze saying that something had gone horribly wrong, and he needed to come right at that instant.

Max didn't think that this guy was type to play pranks. Not to mention, Max didn't think they were close enough to be doing so.

"Umn...there is a bit of trouble.." Naze said with a smile, as he pulled the cover of the trash can beside him.

Max looked at him in a weird manner before shifting his gaze to see what was inside, and when he did, his face twitched. He immediately turned his head to look at Naze with wide eyes.

"What in hell did you do to him?"

Max's eyes turned calm, but those were the calm that signified the oncoming of a storm.

"Woah! Calm down! It wasn't my fault!" Naze immediately took a couple of steps back.

"He is the one to have followed me, mistaking me as Axel." He further said with a helpless smile, "And, I thought him of an assassin…..and went a bit rough on him…"

"Bit rough?" Max asked as he stared at him.

"Yeah.." Naze nodded.

"You broke his arm, and two of the ribs as well. And, you dare to say a bit rough?" Max really wanted to punch this guy. He definitely had struck without holding back, or may be a bit.

"How in hell will he participate in the next competition if we need him in an urgent situation?" Max glared at the guy in anger.

"Really? You are worried about this, and not him?" Naze was really speechless here.

"I am taking everything into consideration here!" Max's face turned ugly.

"You have so many people, just select anyone. The next event only requires three people after all." Naze forced a smile on his face.

Max smiled at him in anger, 'This b*stard..'
