Chapter 618: Disappearance

Trinity Academy…

The Headmaster of the Trinity Academy came out on the balcony of the first floor as he looked at the students down in the hall. The music stopped and a silence enveloped the place as everybody waited for him to address the crowd.

"I welcome all the students to Trinity on behalf of our Academy. And, I wish for you to have an enjoyable, safe and Healthy competition in the upcoming events." Fanet smiled at the students.

As soon as he was done, the students began to applaud. He then went on to address a few more issues regarding the event before finally falling back, allowing the party to continue.

"Don't you think you should leave this place for a moment? I mean Lora is not running away." Rias looked at Lear with a smug face before shifting her gaze towards the side.

Lear followed her gaze, and saw that the leaders of different Academies were engaging in some kind of conversation with each other.

'Didn't Axel say he was going to do it?' Lear frowned as he turned around to look for him, but failed to find the guy around.

"You should go," Lora said to him in understanding.

In the end, Lear left. He wasn't blind. He knew what was important and needed to be done.

Lesia quietly sat in her chair. She seemed to be just sitting there as her eyes kept tracking her three sons around. She really wanted to go to them, but her situation wasn't allowing it. She had to hide herself for now.

"Beep!"

A notification sounded on her phone.

She immediately picked her phone up as if she had been waiting for it. And, when she saw who it was from, she immediately raised her head to look at Arnold.

The guy stood there staring at her. As soon as their eyes met, he gave her a light nod before beginning to move towards the exit.

Lesia stood up as well, but before she could go Lora stopped her, "Where are you going?"

"Um..I am going to the washroom..." Lesia forced a smile on her face.

"I will come with you," Lora got up as well.

….

The upper floors…

Roman, Ander, Melinda and Fanet were sitting in a group having a nice chat when a person suddenly appeared by their side.

This person was a bit old, and had lost his top hair going half bald. And, his belly was definitely coming way out of his body than it actually should.

Melinda looked at him and frowned. He was her butler, and he definitely had enough manners to know when to come in and when to not.

"What's wrong, Logan?" She asked, looking at him.

"My Lady, there have been reports of some ambush around on our people." Logan calmly addressed the issue and everyone's face immediately turned dark.

"They dare to come to this place.." Roman immediately got up. He was not going to let them get away for sure. And, the next second, he was gone.

"Bring, Lora here," Melina said to her butler. It wasn't that she believed that things would go wrong, it was just that a mother was a mother. She couldn't help but worry a bit.

Logan nodded and moved out as well.

...

A few minutes passed….

Ander was calmly sitting there when his expression suddenly changed. He had actually locked onto his wife's aura, but it had just disappeared now.

He began to have a bad feeling about it.

'Don't tell me..'

The scene from last night began to play in Ander's head. But, he shook his head. He wasn't going to believe anything.

Right now, he needed to find where his wife had gone too.

"What's wrong?" Melinda asked, looking at him.

"I need to go, that woman really won't stop worrying me…" Ander shook his head, and disappeared the next instant.

….

A few minutes earlier…

"What's wrong?" Lesia asked as she looked at Lora, who had just stopped outside the washroom for some reason.

"Ah...no nothing...I am fine.." Lora shook her as she smiled, and then entered the washroom with her head down.

Two of them entered the empty cabins, and a minute later Lora came out. But Lesia had disappeared into thin air. There wasn't a single trace of her, and the entire washroom was empty.

"Where did she go?" A frown appeared on Lora's face, and she closed her eyes as if trying to calm down or something. A minute later, she opened them again and immediately walked out of the place.

Lora had only walked a couple of steps when a man appeared in front of her.

It was Logan.

"Young Miss, the Lady has asked me to get you." He looked at her with a calm face and then further spoke looking above. "I will be taking it from here on the lady's order, you people have been move out to support. There has been an enemy attack."

As soon as he said that, there were a few whistling noises as if something had just went past through the air.

"Shall we move ahead, my lady?" Logan smiled at her pointing his hand ahead.

Lora looked at him for a few seconds, and then nodded.

But, the moment she went past him, Logan's lips curled into an evil grin and his hand moved.

"Bang!"

He mercilessly smashed his fist across the side of her head from behind sending her crashing into the wall beside.

"Boom!"

Her body then lifelessly collapsed onto the floor with her head bleeding. It seemed that she had been knocked out in a single strike. After all, this man was releasing the aura of a Master Tier Mage.

Logan walked up to her with a smile on his face. His gaze lingered all over Lora's body as he licked his lips in a perverted manner, "I will get to your mother through you my darling, and it seems I was right in my decision."

He let out an evil laugh. And, then took out a transmitter, "I have secured the target, keep up the distraction. I will get out of the place soon."

He then grabbed Lora, and pulled her over his shoulder before disappearing from the place.
