Lear tried to wake her up and gave her a little shake, but it wasn't working. It was only then that he noticed her skin had turned a bit purple on a few parts. It was definitely a sign of poisoning.
This immediately made Lear frown. He caught her wrist and sent his mana through her body. And, his expression soon eased a bit. Even though he was no expert at it, he could tell that it wasn't going to kill her in a short time.
The poison was a mild one meant to immobilize her. After all, if it was strong, there was no way that it would have made its way into her body. Lesia definitely would have caught onto it.
'It's no use waking her up now..' Leo frowned and turned to look at Lora. He noticed that she was bleeding from her head. This really made his face turn ugly in rage. If he had the ability, he would have definitely gone to smash that guy's face.
But for now, he could only hold himself back.
The situation was really dire.
If it was a single person, he could have definitely made a breakthrough through the air. But, carrying two person at once would definitely make him a slowpoke. He would be shot down with ease.
In the end, he could probably get away with only a single person.
"So, it wasn't an accident but a distraction. No wonder I felt a mana fluctuation there." A voice entered Lear's ear and his face twitched as he sighed.
It seemed he was found out.
He turned his head and saw Logan standing there with a smile on his face. He was looking straight at him while the other four guards had a confused look on their faces. They still hadn't discovered Lear it seemed.
'I guess it was too much to think I could fool a Master Tier Mage at this close of a range,' Lear shook his head as he pulled his cloak and revealed himself.
"I wonder how you got here…"
Logan looked at Lear as a dangerous aura began to leak out of him.
Lear didn't reply but just stood there with a calm look on his face. He was still thinking on how to deal with the situation. There was no chance of him beating a person like Logan.
It was basically a death wish.
"I am actually waiting for a guest. And, it certainly will be fun to have you entertain me until she arrives," Logan suddenly said with a smile as a guard brought him a chair and he took his seat. "How about I give you two options like the one I gave to your mother?"
Lear stared at him.
"Choose one, I will let that person live? And, you will take that person's place." He said with an interested look on his face. He was curious to see whom Lear would choose. After all, one was his mother and the other was his lover.
It certainly was going to get interesting.
Lear clenched his fist as he glared at the man. He was definitely going to kill him one day.
"If you don't give me an answer in the next minute, I will chop one hand of both of them. Even though I have got some used for them. A hand or two is not a big deal. And, it certainly doesn't matter." Logan laughed as he looked at Lea's darkening face.
It certainly was entertaining.
This guy really had a twisted personality.
It was really a wonder how he got through without being caught up until now.
"You time is running out…"
Lear looked at Lora. He didn't have the power to do anything right now. Getting in a fight will only make the situation worse. If that was the case, then wouldn't saving one of them would be the better option here.
"Are you really going to keep your words?" Lear looked at Logan with a frown on his face.
"Of course, I am." Logan nodded. "Who can understand love better than me?"
Lear really doubted it. A Psycho like him talking about love, the person whom he loved must have been unlucky as hell.
"Then, let my mother go." Lear walked up to her as he began to untie her.
The smile on Logan's face immediately disappeared and he looked at Lear with a frown. This certainly was out of his expectation.
"And, here I thought you loved that girl?" He asked with a snort and began to laugh. "The girl deserves to be played around though. She is after all that b*stard's daughter."
"You better shut your mouth.."
Logan suddenly felt the hairs on his body rise when he heard Lear's cold tone. His eyes had turned red for a second there and Logan felt a slight pain all over with a horrifying premonition of his body popping up like a balloon.
A drop of sweat slid down his chin as he looked at Lear.
It certainly terrified him. But, he soon got over it. He thought that it was just his realization that he was underestimating Lear. The situation should still be under his control as long as he handled the situation with seriousness. After all, the difference in their strength was not something that could be overcome.
"Who do you think you are glaring at?" Logan smashed the armrest of the chair as he got up in rage.
"You want to save her right? I will kill her first then!" He let out a crazy smile while looked at Lesia.
"And, you think I will let you do it?" Lear looked at him with a calm gaze. It was not like he had ever believed him to begin with.
Logan frowned seeing Lear acting so calm.
At this moment, Lear suddenly took out his storage artifact, and poured out a bunch of metal ores from it. And, these were all from the Headmaster's collections and even included some of his weapons made from precious materials.
"Hmph! Do you think just because you have this weapon, you can beat me?" Logan asked with a smirk on his face. This was the best joke he had heard today.
"Who ever said anything about beating you?" Lear suddenly clasped his hand, and the next instant the pieces of ores rose to form the figure of a Wolf.
"Clank!" The Iron Wolf suddenly stretched its body as it came around Leo before moving towards Lesia. And, then in front of everyone's eyes it swallowed Lesia.
"Attack! Don't let it go!" Logan immediately commanded, having a bad feeling about it.
The next instant, Lear and Lora along with Iron Wolf beside him were immediately engulfed in a barrage of spells.
