The day was getting over, and the students returned back to their resting place prepared by Trinity Academy.
The competition was reaching its climax. There were two more days left before this event would end.
After that the winner would be crowned, and they would have to leave for Ishtar for the next event.
It was a pity that Lear, who was supposed to be the star, was in such a situation now. Max and the group had planned to raise him to the sky and let him succeed the family. But, things sure have changed now.
With Lear gone from the picture, no one knew how it would play out.
Still, one thing was made very clear between them.
They had to crush both the sons of the Barnes in the next event. If Lear couldn't rise, then they had to make sure they would push the other two in the ground. That was the best they could for now.
After all, if they gained support and built their forces before Leo could wake up, then it would surely not be easy for him to get everything back. It would be too late for him to change the game then.
Axel had been thinking about this for a long time, and he was still doing the same.
He didn't know what he was supposed to do if the Ishtar or Orca didn't come across them in the next event. It was entirely possible after all.
If they didn't meet then, they might proceed ahead with ease. This was a bad scenario for them. Secondly, Orca was strong. Axel couldn't be hundred percent sure that they would definitely be able to beat them in a confrontation.
Besides, after they had suffered a crushing defeat against them, it was obvious that they would be taking them seriously from next time.
"I will have to think of some method." Axe muttered to himself. If only he could come up with something that would pummel Orca and Ishtar into the ground. If there was such a method, he would surely spread it to the rest of the Academy.
'And, if it can't be done in a fair way then..' Even in his thoughts, Axel didn't complete his sentence. But, it was obvious that he was willing to go to lengths to succeed. Even if it meant cheating or using unfair means.
After all, cheating was not considered cheating until you were caught. So, it was just a skill in that time frame, and Axel was surely going to make use of this skill if possible. He wasn't going to back down.
At this moment, a knock came on the door and Axel's face changed.
He knew who it was.
"It's open.." Axel muttered as he looked at the door.
"Creak!"
The door opened and a figure soon walked into the room.
It was Eren.
"I am here." He said with a frustrated look on his face. He was angry until a while ago, but after returning and calming down, he realized that it wasn't good of him to act like that. Hence, he was here now.
"What do you want now?" Axel asked in anger. He was really irritated.
"I am sorry, ok!" Eren apologized, his tone was a bit questionable though.
"What are you sorry for?" Axel asked while looking at him.
Eren gritted his teeth. This guy sure was taking a little thing and holding onto it. But, he had a big heart. He calmed himself and spoked again, "I am sorry, I shouldn't have behaved like that…"
"I am not angry about that.."
"Huh?" Eren looked at him in confusion, "Then what for?"
"Well, the other guy is here. Let's go down, I will teach you two a lesson today." Axel smiled, but it seemed evil for some reason.
Eren had an urge to run away for a moment. It seriously was that scary.

"What's going on?" Max asked as he looked at Mark, and then turned his head towards Wilson.
"Nothing much.." Mark shook his head. He didn't think there was anything serious worth mentioning here.
"Then why is Axel angry?" Max asked in surprise. He couldn't think of anyone but Wilson who could make Axely angry.
"Oh that…." Mark finally realized what Max was talking about. But, he wasn't clear about the situation as well, "I don't know, but the Axel and Eren argued. And, I couldn't find the reason."
At this moment, Axel came down with Eren behind him.
Max turned his head towards him, and asked with a smile, "What's with the angry face?"
"I can't help it. I feel like I have been backstabbed," Axel calmly replied.
"Who did it? Tell me, I will seek justice for you and kill the traitor," Max replied with fiery eyes. He thought that Axel had just used a metaphor to describe the situation, so he played along and responded in a similar manner.
Eren's face twitched.
He didn't know what he had done, but it was very obvious that he was the traitor here.
"Well, then go ahead and slice off your head." Axel crossed his arms, and waited for Max to do it.
His words surprised everyone around.
Max was no different. He was definitely taken back, he slowly raised his finger and pointed at his face, "Me?"
"Yes, you." Axel nodded, confirming his and everyone's suspicion. "So, please go ahead."
Eren, who was standing behind, was suddenly confused. If Max was the culprit, why was he being punished then?
"Bro, what did I do?" Max asked in confusion.
"You sure, don't know?" Axel asked once again.
Max frowned, but it didn't cross his head. He had met Naze a while ago. The guy was actually leaving along with Max. Basically, following behind to Ocien. That guy hadn't said a word about him meeting Axel, so Max definitely thought that he had yet to meet Axel.
"What is this?" Axel suddenly raised his phone, and there was a picture of him with Max behind.
Axel seemed to be taking a selfie. The clothes that Max was wearing matched with his current ones. But, that was not so for Axel.
People had no idea about one thing, but Max sure did.
If one looked carefully, then they could easily differentiate that the person in the picture wasn't Axel but Naze.
