Even though Max had felt the drug to be an aphrodisiac, he didn't think there was any reason for these people to lie it to be sleeping one. Secondly, he didn't think a bunch of guys would drug another guy unless they swung the other way. But the chances were low.
"I will excuse myself from the pleasure. I am actually feeling a bit sleepy so I might as well take a nap." Max made the clone to act.
As soon as those words came out of his mouth, disappointment flashed through the girl's eyes while Travis's eyes lit up.
Max sure caught both these changes, and his lips curled up into a smile. He began to have an idea about the ongoing situation.
"In that case, we should return." Travis hurriedly got up with a smile on his face.
Max looked at the guy, and nodded.
As Travis and the clone left, the girl too got up with a disappointed look on her face.
She slowly got out of the room while hearing moans coming from the other rooms. But, her night was going to be a lonely one it seems, "How was he not affected by it?"
"Affected by what?" A voice entered her ears.
"The Drug obviously.." She replied with a frown, but her eyes immediately went wide. And, the next instant, a hand immediately came over her mouth and pushed her against the wall.
"Don't scream and quietly answer my questions…" Max calmly stared into her eyes, "Or you can refuse, if you don't want to live.."
The girl's body shook as sweat began to form over her forehead.
The people passing around the hallway looked over at them, but just smiled before going on their way. It wasn't an ordinary sight at places like this. Obviously they thought that the two were doing something else.
"Who are you?" She asked, a bit scared.
Max had changed his looks after all, and she couldn't recognize him.
"What did you mix in the drink?" Max just ignored her question and instead asked her another one.
"I didn-"
"Think before you speak. I only want to hear the truth.." Max reminded her.
The girl gulped before taking her eyes off of Max, and then spoke, "I drugged the drink with an aphrodisiac."
"Why? Who asked you to do so?"
"I did it on my own," The girl replied.
"Lie!"
"No, I am not lying. I did it on my own.." She once again repeated.
"Why would you do that?" Max asked her in confusion.
"Why would you mix an aphrodisiac in someone's drink?" The girl looked at Max as if he was asking something very obvious to him. "I mean you were handsome and charming.."
Max was suddenly left speechless for a second.
"Did you really have to take it that way?" He couldn't help, but ask her.
"So, what would you do if I just dropped a hint about it to you instead of drugging you? Would you have accepted my advances." The girl looked at him, and Max finally let her go.
He just thought that he met the wrong person.
"You better not speak about this to anyone." He gave her a warning and then disappeared.
Once he was gone, the girl wiped off the sweat on her forehead, "Damn that Naze! He didn't tell me there was another guard with him. That b*stard, he scammed me. I provided him with so much crucial information in order to have a taste of this guy…" She clenched her fists in anger.
This girl here, was not an ordinary girl, even Max knew that she was a Demon, but he had no idea that she was one of 12 stars of the Demons world's younger generation, Alina Kaether.
And, currently, she was residing in Ocien.

Max got out of the place, and followed after his clone and Travis.
His clone had already fallen asleep after he confirmed that the drinks were switched by the girl.
The car straight headed towards the Scarlet House. Max was a bit surprised to see that. He thought that they would definitely try to do something to him. After all, it was not like they drugged him so that he could have a peaceful night of sleep.
So, logically, if they wanted to do something, wouldn't it be better to do it outside. And, yet they were bringing him back into the House. This didn't make sense, if something happened to him there. The blame would directly be on the Scarlet House.
The car stopped in front of the mansion.
Travis slowly got out of the car, and then helped Max up.
The real Max stayed hidden in the garden. At this distance, he could just use his clone to know what was going on. There was no need to get further.
A minute later, Travis finally reached into Max's room, and threw his clone onto the bed.
"Finally.." He stretched his neck while looking at Max with a disdainful look on his face.
"Even if you are at the top of the younger generation, you will still be at my foot by the end of the day.." He laughed while looking at him.
'What in hell is he talking about?' Max frowned.
Travis just waited in the room for some reason, and even Max couldn't understand his motive.
But, a minute later, a shadow suddenly appeared in the room.
It was a beautiful lady with a voluptuous body. She really looked seductive, but Max didn't pay any attention to her figure, but only her face. He instantly had recognized her.
She was the current lady of the Scarlet House, and Travis's mother, Talia Scarlet.
"I did as you asked.." Travis calmly looked at her.
"Good.." Talia spoked while her gaze lingered on Max.
"But, are we really going to do this? James asked us to kill him.." Travis suddenly asked. "The Elder behind him might not be happy with us.."
"Since when did we become their subordinates…"
"Is this guy really worth it, Mom?"
