Scarlet Mansion, Ocien.
"Is something the matter?" The Scarlet Lord asked as he raised his head to look at Erina standing in front of him.
"I went looking for mom, but she is not in the chamber. I heard from the servants that she has been moved to a different place," Erina spoke with a serious look on her face.
"It hasn't even been a day since your return. Shouldn't you be resting first?" The Scarlet Lord calmly stated.
"I am fine, I want to meet mom," Erina replied before further asking, "Where is she?"
"Go and rest for now. I will send someone to take you there tomorrow." Scarlet Lord waved his hand.
"But.."
"No buts…leave now. I have important matters to tend to." Scarlet Lord didn't allow her to speak anymore.
Erina could only look at him in disappointment before leaving.
When she left, Scarlet Lord raised his head to look at the door for a few seconds before continuing to do his work.

On the other side…
"What is so important?" Talia looked at the person in front of her with a frown on her face. "You know how much trouble it would be if people see you around here?"
"This matter isn't something which could be neglected." The person in front of Talia finally spoke as he pulled down his cloak to reveal a face which was full of scars. One had to wonder what this man had to go through to turn out like this.
There was one peculiar thing about this man though, he had a tattoo of a serpent on his neck.
Right, he was none other than the leader of one of the seven pillars of the Dark Society, the Sin of Envy, Istadore.
The scars on his face were something that he had received from the Sin of Wrath. But, he couldn't blame anyone else but his own jealousy for it. This was the reason that people felt he was truly deserving of his spot for Sin of Envy.
"The Ancient Families are here. From what I hear, it's the same bunch which destroyed the branch in Trinity," Istadore said with a calm look on his face.
A frown immediately emerged on Talia's face. She obviously was aware of the incident that had happened in Trinity. But, she hadn't paid much attention to it. She was even thinking of it as just a one time thing.
After all, from the information she had received, it seemed that the younger generation of the Ancient families were the one to have led this operation. If that was true, it was most likely some method that the old geezers of the families were using to test the youths.
But, what now?
It didn't seem like the test had ended yet..
"What does it look like from their movements?" Talia asked Istadore.
"It doesn't look good, more and more people are arriving each day. It seems they are gathering forces," Istadore replied.
"Fine, return and stop everything for now and erase the traces of all your people. Don't appear until I ask you to.." Talia commanded, and Istadore nodded before disappearing.
"Travis.."
"Yes, mom." Travis immediately stepped up. He was there in the room like always.
"Contact him…" Talia looked at her son, and Travis's eyes immediately lit up in excitement.

"Where are you guys going?" Rihanna asked in surprise when she saw Synthia with Max.
Max had arrived a few minutes ago. And, now the two were heading out together. She couldn't understand what had happened.
Did the sun rise from the other direction today?
"That jerk is here. Father asked me to pick him up, and attend all the things with him.." Synthia greeted her teeth in anger.
"I am going to meet this person too," Max replied with a smile.
Rihanna didn't need to ask anymore. She understood what was going on.
"Well, then good luck.." She waved her hand at them.

Express Station..
"Are you sure he is arriving at this hour?" Max asked if he looked at Synthia. They had already waited for a good while, but there was no sign of this person.
Synthia on the hand stood there with a heavy frown on her face , "I just checked, the express car which he was arriving in had arrived 30 minutes ago.."
"Where is he then?" Max asked with an amused look on his face. It seemed that the guy had taken another exit and left. But, it was clear that he knew someone was waiting for him, and yet he didn't even feel the need to inform the other person.
Max was already able to see the sh*tty personality of this person.
"Let me call him.." Synthia dialed his number with a scowl on her face.
It took a few seconds, but the guy picked up.
"Where are you?" She asked in anger.
"I am out here to have some fun." A voice came from the other side.
"Did you not know that I was here to pick you up.." Synthia's grip on her phone tightened. Anymore, and she would probably crush it into smithereens.
"Yeah, father said something about it. Anyway, I don't need your service. I will return on my own. Or is Rihanna with you, I might change my mind if that is the case.." The guy's laughter sounded from the other end, and Synthia's face turned dark.
"Don't test my patience.." Synthia's voice turned cold.
"Don't get angry, she has yet to become my sister in law or should I say brother in law? What kind of relationship do you guys have? It always confuses me. Why don't you say it to me? I mean who is the top and who is the bottom.."
"Bang!"
The phone in Synthia's hand was crushed into pieces. Her figure was trembling in anger.
Max could see what this girl had to go through. If her own brother was like this, he couldn't even imagine how the other people were. It sure was difficult for her and Rihanna to live a peaceful life surrounded by such people.
Synthia slowly turned her head and looked towards Max, "You said that we might have to kill him, right?"
"Yeah…" Max looked at her, having a bad feeling about it.
"Good, I will fully support you. If he is somehow involved in all of this, we will kill him.." Synthia slowly clenched her fist with a face full of rage.
You should never provoke a girl like her until you had full confidence in dealing with her. After all, not everyone was like Max.
This guy sure had asked for trouble.
