Erina stood by her father's side as she looked at the Old lady who was apparently her grandma.
Even though she was old, she only looked like an old Aunty at most rather than an old grandma. There were a few strands of white hair mixed along with red ones.
Erina looked at her, and then nodded respectfully in greeting.
"You have grown a lot, my child.." The Old lady spoke with a sweet smile on her face.
She then looked at Kel, and further spoke, "Take her to her mother, and she must have a lot of questions to be answered. Help her out. It's time that she return to her roots, and accept the responsibilities of a first born girl."
"Yes, Mother…" Kel nodded with a smile on her face as she left with Erina.
Once they were gone, the Scarlet Lord sighed, "The Storm Family is here with a marriage proposal for Erina. And, Talia is pushing it on the surface…"
The Old lady frowned upon hearing this.
"What is the Old Matriarch planning?" Terence asked her mother with a frown on her face.
"I will have to talk to her about this." The Old lady sighed as well. She was only the acting head, and the true head of the family was her own mother. She was the supreme existence within the Crimson family along with her sister, that everyone called Second Matriarch in respect.
The two of them were Pillar who had raised back the Crimson family back from ashes when it was almost wiped out.

Erina accompanied Aunt Kel as she took Erina to meet her mother.
"So, you want to ask anything? Mother allowed me to answer any of your questions.." Kel said with a smile as she looked at Erina.
Erina obviously had a lot to ask. She didn't even know where to start.
Seeing her expression, Kel realized this as well, and hence she decided to give a short brief of the situation which would allow her to understand the situation.
She first began to explain the vastness of the world to Erina. These were actually things that Erina knew from beforehand. Max had already told her about Demons and the Ancient Families.
But, the next thing which she heard definitely shocked her.
Kel informed her about the history of Scarlets. That, the Scarlet was just an alias from the Crimsons in the outer world. They were actually one of the Ancient Families.
The revelations were really shocking to her.
"You might have a hard time believing but this is the truth. My Grandma, and your great grandma along with her sister and a few other members were the survivors of the incident that happened thousands of years ago."
"You mean Great Grandma is a thousand years old?" Erina asked in shock.
Kel giggled looking at Erina's shocked face before nodding.
"Well, she had my mother in her later years as she was too busy running and hiding. But, even my mother is a hundred years old." Kel further added with a smile.
"Earlier, I also heard something about my friend being related to us?" Erina asked in a little voice.
"Your friend?" Kel asked in surprise.
"His name is Max.." Erina replied.
"Oh..well, he is your cousin in a certain sense.." Kel continued with a smile, "He is from Second Grandma's bloodline."
"Second Grandma is also a part of the Crimson family, Matriarch's Younger Sister. She was actually married out of the family as the first born girl in the family usually inherits everything and she was the younger one. So, she was married into Starfall Family, another one of the Ancient Families. And, she had a daughter there as well."
"But, during the years of running, the daughter ended up being separated from her. And, went missing. At one point everyone thought she was dead, and the second grandma was devastated. Without anyone to continue the Starfall bloodline, there was no more hope for the revival of the family. After all, her daughter was the last family she had from her husband's side while everyone else from the Starfall had perished. It really broke her heart and she returned to stay with us. But, recently we discovered a person in the outer world carrying the Starfall blood."
"It was Lithiya. We were only able to discover her due to your father who met her in his Academy days. But, she seemed to have lived an ordinary life all this time. And, she also seemed to have fallen in love with someone. Your father obtained the information that people from her family's side seemed to have vanished in some incident."
"In the end your Second Grandma didn't come in contact with her. She saw that Lithiya was happy with her life, and hence didn't want to bring her into all of this. It was better to just let her live in peace while also keeping the Starfall Bloodline alive."
"Then the news came that Lithiay had a girl. We all were excited when that news came, but the girl even though turned out to be a talent, didn't have the characteristics of a starfall nor that of Crimson."
"Even though she was a descendant as well, it was not so in true sense. Just like your brother.."
"My brother? Wilson?" Erina asked in surprise.
"Yes, Wilson is one of us as well. But, that brat doesn't have a single thing which can make him a Crimson. He hadn't inherited a single thing from our bloodline. Such things happen from time to time. The case was similar with Lithiya's daughter.." Kel replied.
A complicated look appeared on Erina's face upon hearing that. And, she seemed to be a little worried as well.
"You don't need to look that worried. Just because he hasn't inherited any of our characteristics, doesn't mean he isn't a part of the family.." Kel seemed to realise Erina's thought and smiled.
"Anyway, in the case of Lithiya's daughter, even though Second Grandma was happy, she was still a bit sad. After all, she wanted the Starfall line to continue. And, she really wanted the child to have that blood in him or her."
"And then Max appeared. He was the one Second Grandma had been waiting for. To be honest, she would have contacted him long ago if not for him coming in contact with the other Ancient families."
Erina's pupils dilated on hearing that.
She knew about Max's situation very well. After all, she was actually one of his followers now. Yes, she was the part of the team after the recent events.
Even thought they seemed to have issues on their side on contacting Max, she definitely wouldn't have any of those.
