Chapter 802 Creating an Opportunity "Are you sure about this? I think we should give it another thought.." Eren muttered with a nervous look on his face as they arrived outside the restaurant. According to their information, Travis was currently enjoying his time here with some guests.
"There is nothing to worry about. You just pretend not to know me, and observe everything.." Axel said as he looked at him. "I want to know how things will go after I make my escape.."
Axel didn't have confidence to kill Travis right now. It was different before he arrived here, but now, it wasn't so. He had just received a message from Max, and it told him to be careful and act within the limits as there were a few terrifying presences around whom even Max might not be able to deal with.
This sure had given him a reality check. But still, he sure was going to give him an injury to make him bedridden for a month at least. Even that should be enough for Axel to get things done for now.
With that in mind, Axel and Eren separated with each moving on their own path.

'This is going to be close..' Max muttered inwardly as he calmly had his dinner with everyone. He had already informed Axel about the danger.
'There are two formidable presences around. Most likely at the peak of Master Tier and if worse, a Grandmaster..'
This was Max's evaluation. But, Max wasn't worried about these two people. He knew Axel was not simple, even though he had no idea what level that guy had reached in his formation. But, from the looks of the things that he designed, Max was sure it was not low.
The only thing that was worrying Max right now, was Preston. He knew that the guy probably had someone guarding him as well. Max was not sure if it was one of the two formidable presences. If it was, then it was a good thing, if not, that surely sounded like a disaster.
After all, if Max couldn't even sense the presence of that person, it was very likely to be a Supreme at a higher level. That was certainly bad news.
'Hmmn?' Erina suddenly felt a gaze on her back as if someone was staring at her. She couldn't help, but turned her head around to check but didn't find anyone. It was people everywhere and they were all busy among themselves.
'Strange…why did it feel a bit odd..' She muttered inwardly not knowing why she was feeling a little heavy in her heart.
As Erina turned her head back, a person sitting on the bartender's table slightly turned his head to look towards them. This person was Axel.
He looked at Erina and sighed inwardly. He was wondering what to say to her when they would meet. This sure was tougher than he thought.
He was willing to admit that he didn't feel good after she left like that, he would admit it as well that he would help her to get out of this situation. As for things after that, he wasn't sure..
'F*ck it! I will just handle things as they come..' Axel made the decision in his heart.
'It's time..' He looked at one of the waiters going inside the staff room, and immediately followed behind.
"Uh..Sir..only staff members are allowed here.." A staff person looked at Axel in surprise.
"I am sorry, I couldn't find the washroom.." Axel forced a smile on his face, "Can I just use the one in here..it's urgent."
Before the person could say another word, Axel had already taken a step in, and the staff person could only help him and show the way.
Once Axel was inside, he immediately took out a waiter's uniform from his storage device, and changed his clothes and put on a disguise. He then waited for the person who had led him in to go out. That was the only way for him to not get busted, and it didn't take long to happen.
As soon as Axel got out, he smoothly blended in with the crowd. The place was busy, and as long as he was careful, it was very easy for him to go unrecognized.
With that, Axel began to walk around every corner of the building. He knew that he would have to scan the entire place in order to secure an escape route. If not, he would surely be dead.
Thanks to his get up, no one found anything suspicious about him.
'It sure is surprising. But, this place has a reputation as well...' Axel was surprised as he made some discoveries. The place was covered in formations. Somewhere defensive nature while there were also some which were alert and control type.
He knew that if someone was to use their mana, it would be instantly detected. This was the reason that cheating on the gambling floor by using one's abilities was unheard of. As for the control formation, Axel deemed it was the type to restrain people. It was most probably used in scenarios where fights break out.
'It will be troublesome if they use it to restrain me…but, as long as I am prepared..' Axel smiled. It would be different if he didn't know about it beforehand, but now that he did, things sure were different.
'Let's go..' Axel finally felt that it was time to make a move, and send a message to Max. Since Max was here, he didn't mind taking a bit of help from him.

"Ah!! What did you do?!!" Travis glared at Max who had just knocked down and spilled a glass of wine on him.
"I am sorry, it was an accident.." Max apologized with a sincere look on his face. He apparently had knocked down the glass while picking up a tissue.
"It's just some wine..there is no need to make such a fuss.." Synthia looked at Travis, and he immediately turned quiet.
"Well, then excuse me for a minute.." Travis glared at Max as he got up and left for the washroom to clean it.
'That's the most I will do for you..' Max muttered inwardly as he saw Travis leave.
