Chapter 812 Achieved Demons Slayer Guild, Mercenary District, Ocien.
"You really dare to come and see me after all of that.." Louis looked at the guy in front of her with a frown on her face. She didn't imagine that this guy would have the guts to come out so soon after trying to assassinate Travis.
The whole of Ocien was currently on lookout for him, and if caught, only god knew how he would end up. And, yet, this guy didn't go into hiding but had walked straight into the guild which was probably under the watch of the Scarlet as if it was nothing for him.
"Don't worry, the goons here won't be able to stop me from going in and out…" Axel looked at her with a calm look on his face. He had escaped from Grandmaster Tier Mage, there was no way that these Master Tier and Expert Tiers could possibly catch him.
"What are you here for?" Louis asked as she looked at Axel.
"Well, recently, the guild has been pretty lively. I see a lot of people around. It seems that your reputation has increased for some reason. Don't you think so?" Axel asked with a smile.
Louis's face twitched a little on hearing that. She obviously realized what Axle meant.
"It's not possible now. Come when things have settled down a bit," Louis said with a serious look on her face.
"I don't have time.." Axel didn't back down. "Besides, I am sure you have some trusted people. Just give a few to me. I don't need anything else.."
The frown on Louis's face deepened on hearing that. She obviously wasn't willing. Who would want to give out their loyal subordinates to others.
"I don't need them permanently. It's just for my stay in Ocien. They can return to their position when I leave." Axel further stated to ease the situation.
"Fine, but lay low for a while. Don't do anything else. I am afraid that the guild might not be able to keep itself separate from you if you cause another big commotion.." Louis gave in helplessly before warning Axel of the consequences that his actions could have.
"I know. Don't worry. If it gets worse, I just have to use another identity instead of the one I used as a Guild member.." Axel replied with a nod.
Louis then called down at the reception, and asked for a few people to be sent above to her room.
A few minutes later, a group of five consisting of three men and two women entered the place.
Axel's eyes flashed with a little surprise when he noticed the guy in the lead. It was a familiar face. This person was their senior in the Academy.
Zexter Frost.
Axel had heard from Max that he and Bahamut had an encounter with these group of seniors, and had a little cooperation for a mission. Later on, it seemed that Bahamut had stayed in touch with Zexter as this guy had a special background.
This guy was Namen's Half brother. Even though he was from another mother, who ranked low in status, it didn't change the fact that he was the son of the Lord. And, Bahamut knew the importance of relations.
Hence, when Max had managed to make Namen into his follower, Bahamut too had gotten Zexter in his team as his follower.
"Hmmn.."
As soon as Zexter entered the room, his eyes immediately shifted to Axel who was sitting right in front of Louis. As a follower of one of the five, he too could feel a similar presence from Axel which confirmed his position as a follower too.
Louis looked at the group and then introduced Axel to them, "I am not sure if you recognize him, but he is the Fenrir.."
As soon as others heard those words, their eyes immediately widened in surprise. Axel had revealed his face right now, and it was very obvious that the guy was even younger than them. Yet his abilities were not something that could even fathom.
"Aren't you a junior from our Academy?" One of the ladies from the group identified Axel at a glance. She had seen him in the competition, and hence, it wasn't difficult for her to recognize him.
Axel let out a smile when he heard it. He regretted a little for showing his face. But, he knew that in order to establish a proper team, he needed to show that he trusted them at least. If not, it would be useless.
After all, would one be willing to listen to a person whose face they haven't even seen at all?
That was ridiculous.
Axel for sure wouldn't.
"I have called you guys here to hand over an important mission to you all," Louis spoke as she looked at the group, "From now on you are to follow his lead, and work under him for a while.."
Zexter looked at Louis, and then at Axel. He understood that something important must be going on. Not to mention, there was a lot of incidents in Ocien occurring daily. He had been feeling that something was not right, and it seemed his intuitions were on the mark. And, he would soon find out about everything.
"What do we have to do?" The lady from earlier spoke as she looked at Axel and then at Louis with a little hesitation on her face. She was actually not afraid of work, but she didn't want to die for no reason. In her eyes, Axel sure was a maniac who would do insane stuff. In his case, it was either survive and become a legend or die and disappear. That was the two choices they had.
"You don't need to worry. I won't make you do something unreasonable.." Axel smiled with a bitter look on his face. He could clearly see that she was afraid of him. Did he really look like some kind of monster?
To be honest, he was probably the most normal guy in the team.
