Chapter 816 Fight Of Geniuses "Rarrr!!!!!!!!!!"
A thunderous roar shook the land, and frightened beasts and human alike. In the middle of the flooded field, stood a Hydra with seven heads. The terrifying jet black creature looked extremely menacing. It looked real from head to toe, if one didn't see how it came to existence, they would definitely mistake it to be a creature from the legends.
Blinken stood in front of the giant creature with a dark look on his face. He knew that he no longer had the ability to look down on Max. After all, it was no longer a stage where Max could be dealt with ease.
"Go!!"
Max shouted and one of the heads suddenly rushed out towards Blinken. The huge head did not only contain a destructive force but also brought a menacing pressure with it. Not to mention, its sharp jaws.
"Don't get cocky, just yet.." Blinken shouted, and the next instant, he raised both his palms ahead, and the moment the head came near him, it suddenly blasted.
"Bang!"
The impact sent Blinken sliding away, but it was clear that he wasn't losing just yet.
'I better end it quick..' Max muttered inwardly with a frown. This new spell was taxing on him, and couldn't be maintained for long. On the other hand, it seemed that Blinken was not someone easy to deal with. If he was to draw this fight out in hopes of testing more of his new spell. He was sure to lose.
He took a step on the water, and the next instant, a huge wave rose into the sky while Max surfed onto it, and brought it all crashing down towards Blinken.
'This kid, he really does know how to use his abilities..' Blinken couldn't help but be surprised as his figure suddenly soared into the sky to avoid the huge tide which Max was riding on. But, it was as if Max had anticipated his actions.
The moment he soared into the air, the Hydra whose figure had been perfectly hidden behind the tide suddenly emerged as it took to the sky aiming straight for Blinken.
"Damn! I fell for it!!"
Blinken immediately clenched his fist, and his body was covered in a thin layer of breeze twirling around him. He had activated his true spell as well.
If people heard that a guy 7 years younger than him forced him to use his true spell, he doubted that people would believe it. He couldn't help but give Max another look. And, sure enough, there was a smirk on the brat's face.
'I really understand why people don't like someone talented. Guess, I deserve it all along…' He couldn't help but let out a bitter laugh inside.
"Rarr!!!"
The first head opened its jaw wide, and came straight towards Blinken trying to swallow him.
"Shut up! You inanimate beast…" Blinken suddenly raised his leg, and stomped down.
"Bang!"
A single hit immediately disintegrated the dragon into puddles of water. But, it wasn't the end, seeing the Second head attacking his side, he clenched his fist sideways, and disintegrated it with a single hit as well.
'This guy..' Max's eyes flashed with a strange glow. He realized that this guy in front of him was using the same trick from earlier. 'You kidding me? It feels like cheating..'
Max couldn't do anything about it. He still didn't have full control over his Water Hydra. And, due to it, there were a few air pockets left within the giant water creature. And, this guy was currently using those air pockets to blast the beast from inside.
'I can't just watch any longer..' Max suddenly took a step, and the next instant, wings appeared behind his back. It had been a long time since he used his wings.
"Hmmn.." Blinken noticed the strange scene as well. He could see that the wings behind Max's back were not made of any elements, and nor did it seem like some kind of equipment.
In that situation, only one possible option was left…
'You f*cking kidding me? He is a Beastman variant as well..' Blinken finally couldn't help but curse. He felt that he had already seen everything, but Max suddenly pulled out another card. And, each of his abilities were at a level to create a terrifying genius. And, now it had all appeared in one person.
Was this even fair?
Suddenly, Max's figure blurred in Blinken's eyes.
"Swish!"
Blood sprayed through the air as a blade sliced a few centimeters into Blinken's right arm before passing through it.
Blinken couldn't help but stare at his arm, and then looked behind to see Max flying into the distance, clearly losing control of his speed and almost crashing down below.
"Damn it! My body can't react!" Max could be heard cursing in the distance, and Blinken could only breathe in relief on hearing that. After all, if Max was in control, didn't that mean he could have his head sliced off without even realizing it.
'His speed is on par with me now..' Blinken wanted to complain now, but he had no one to go to. '
When Max finally managed to hold, and return, Blinken found himself surrounded by a Hydra with two remaining heads, and a Max.
"Are you still holding back?" Blinken couldn't help but ask.
Max didn't reply, but Blinken understood what that silence meant, and in the end he was left with a bitter smile on his face.
"Come, use all you have then. Don't tell me, that I didn't allow you to use it all.." Blinken spoke as he stood in mid air. At this point, he knew that Max didn't need much time to surpass him. Probably not even a year.
But, right at this moment, he would win for sure..
Hence, he wanted to beat Max at his best..
"I appreciate your spirit. But, today is not the day it seems.." Max smiled. There were people coming for him, and as soon as he finished speaking a dozen figures surrounded him.
Blinken's face turned a little dark, but he knew that he couldn't be selfish here.
"We will meet again.." Max didn't pay attention to others, and smiled at Blinken.
