When Li Ran heard that the running water had stopped flowing he stood up and walked over to the partitioned closet near the bathroom.
As soon as Yi Chen came out of the bathroom he glanced over in Zi Han’s direction before turning to look at Yi Chen.
“What the hell?” he whispered loudly his eyes wide open like that of an insect.
Yi Chen rubbed his still wet nape with a towel glancing at him with a ‘what are you panicking for’ type of look. Yi Chen was behaving like it was any regular Tuesday.
“When were you going to tell me this?” asked Li Ran while ruffling his hair in frustration.
“When we are dating,” replied Yi Chen putting back on his uniform.
“Fuck.... you were literally eating each other’s faces just now but aren’t dating? Why him though? I mean the guy puts candy in beer to drink it. That shit is really weird.”
Yi Chen grabbed his mech pendant on the shelf near Li Ran while responding, “Stop cursing so much..... and he doesn’t like bitter things. I told you to bring something sweet but you didn’t.”
“You said I should bring champagne and I did. Do you know that I had a fight with my mom over this? If I didn’t mention your name I would have come here with a torn uniform and missing hair.”

Yi Chen chuckled before saying, “I owe you a favor.... you should go.”

‘What a scumbag,’ thought Li Ran while staring at Yi Chen with an ‘are you fuckin kidding me’ expression.
Just as he took a step out, Yi Chen called him back. Li Ran’s tail that was drooping suddenly wagged as he turned around.
“Give it to me,” said Yi Chen in a soft voice.
Li Ran glared at him for a while before taking out two bottles of champagne and placing them on the shelf.
“The other thing as well,” said Yi Chen, and Li Ran pursed his lips with discontent. He placed the navy box with a red bow in Yi Chen’s hand.
“Come on, let me stay for dinner. It is so crowded in the shared cabin and I can’t even go find Hela. She said I was there to steal her team’s secrets,” he complained almost breaking down in tears.
“Here,” said Yi Chen tapping something on his light brain, “I got access to the cabin opposite as well. Is that compensation enough.”
Seeing the access code in his light brain
Li Ran smiled happily meaning he was satisfied. He planned on bringing Hela over and hopefully getting to eat her face too like these guys.
Zi Han saw Li Ran rushing out after giving him a casual goodbye. The man looked so happy like he had won the lottery.
Soon after Yi Chen walked back in slow strides exuding a sensual irresistible charm that had Zi Han’s stomach exploding with butterflies.
Yi Chen stopped a few feet from Zi Han. Zi Han raised his head and their eyes met each with their own thought.
After a considerable amount of time, Zi Han asked, “What?”
Yi Chen rubbed his chin with a meaningful expression before sitting right next to him. He brazenly draped his arm behind Zi Han and drew closer.
With his head tilted towards Zi Han, he said, “About what we just did....”
Zi Han knew this question was coming but he was still as rattled as before. His heart racing like a bullet train he cleared his throat while moving away a little. “What about it?” asked Zi Han his voice hoarse.
Yi Chen pressed his fingers on Zi Han’s arm trapping him in place. “I.....,” he said but his voice got stuck in his throat his ears turning red.
He had dreamt multiple times about what he would say when he confesses his feelings but when it came down to it he couldn’t say it.
Zi Han didn’t want to hear it because if he was being honest Yi Chen might not like the answer. This intricate web would only ensnare him further complicating things so he said, “Don’t say it.”
Hearing Yi Chen’s heart grew cold with a layer of frost forming over it. If Zi Han won’t let him say it then how was he supposed to make him his?
As a feeling of disappointment washed over him seeming defeated Zi Han continued, “At least not yet. I am not ready to hear it.... but you can still kiss me though.”
Though it wasn’t the outcome he expected Yi Chen was content with what he got. In fact, he was so content that he took full advantage of it. He couldn’t give Zi Han the gift he brought to confess nor could he open the bottle of champagne in celebration but he could smooch all he wants.
By the time it was bedtime Zi Han was fed up with it. While Yi Chen was brushing his teeth in the bathroom Zi Han began to divide the bed using the pillows.
He was afraid that Yi Chen would kiss him again. A kiss off the bed was fine but a kiss on the bed can only lead to some things he no longer wanted to do. That’s because he had discovered a problem. If they were to go all the way who exactly would be penetrating who? Zi Han didn’t have the confidence to... ahem neither did he have the courage to be pressed down.
His curiosity and interest died down rapidly like a flame covered in snow. Thus he pulled up all the pillows he could find to create a false sense of security.

Zi Han was closing his eyes while struggling to calm his beating heart when a heavy weight fell on top of him before pulling his quilt.
