280 The truth about the Republic
It was the place where citizens of the Republic would pilgrim to so they can feel a connection with their savior but underneath, a few levels down, was an intricate laboratory that was way ahead of the Republic’s technology.

His injuries were extensive but he had a feeling that if he didn’t grab this man he would have failed the Republic. When time was up he took the healing capsule with the man with him. Who would have thought he brought back with him his distant cousin who could perform space jumps at will?
When he found out their relation he paraded him in the capital city where plenty gathered to see their so-called savior.
While he was showing him off things went south and the man almost died because he had taken him out of the healing capsule before he was healed enough.
Everyone including him thought the man was dead but when he placed him back in the capsule the man’s breath was restored.
He came to a realization. If he took him out of the healing capsule the man would die thus he kept him a few levels below the temple.
After years of going through all the research by the people before him, he found a way to manipulate the man’s mind forcing him to open portals into the Federation.
