419 “Long, long time no see Han Han. How how are you doing....

The smog was meant to disadvantage Zi Han but facts had proven otherwise. It was like one locking themselves up with a bat and then switching off the lights. Of course, it was like setting oneself up for failure.

Secretary K soon caught up with Zi Han and began to cover his back. Because they didn’t want the enemy to know, Secretary K wrote TD in Zi Han’s palm and Zi Han nodded his head.

The two of them began to navigate within the smog heading to the far east corner of the observatory. Zi Han scanned his finger on a wall that looked regular at a first glance.

The door on the black wall opened a smidge as Secretary K held up his weapon watching for any impending attacks.

Zi Han gently opened the door and entered. Secretary K followed behind and the two of them vanished behind a wall.

The room was left in confusion. They were silently communicating with each other but none of them could find this Houdini that had just vanished.

???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ????????????????????-????????????.????????????

Zi Han was very upset and it showed in the way he carried himself. Only the heavens knew how many painstaking hours he spent preparing for this very beautiful moment only for it to be ruined. So yes, he was extremely pissed off. He was exuding dack sinister aura like that of a beast on the prowl. He couldn’t wait to have a word with Yi Chen after this.

The two of them followed the passageway hidden within the walls leading to the manager’s office. After they reach this office they would be able to leave this museum but the former Marshal had thought ahead.

When they entered the office through the secret door they found that the former Marshal Yi was sitting in what should have been the museum manager’s seat with his fingers resting on his lips. His eyes were lowered with an air of indifference. He tilted his head slightly and met Zi Han’s gaze.

.....

Zi Han’s blood ran cold and his soul immediately left his body. Without much thought, he lowered his weapon. He wanted to fight but when he recalled how his mental power was strangled by this man to the point that he thought he would die he took a step back.

Yi Zhen tapped his fingers on the desk with slight impatience. After that he raised a stan gun aiming it at Zi Han. Secretary K pushed Zi Han out of the way but it was useless. Zi Han was still caught up in this quagmire. The two of them were immediately knocked to the ground. Zi Han tried to stay lucid as he lay on the ground on his back.

He opened his eyes wide and saw the figure of the former Marshal hovering above him. Zi Han tried to get up but his entire head felt heavy so he lay back down his eyes half-lidded. He could vaguely hear what they were saying but their voices were sounding like a faint echo.

“Sir what do we do with the rest of them?” asked one of the men.

“Tie them up and wait for Zi Xingxi to find them. The only person I am interested in is him,” replied the former Marshal while pointing at Zi Han. After that Zi Han’s eyes closed completely sending him into total darkness.

By the time Zi Han woke up he was in a small room restrained in his seat. It was these events that led to him beating up an officer because he was seething with anger.

What made matters worse were the rumors about that irritating bitch still claiming his man all over StarNet.

Coupled with the fact that Yi Chen wasn’t here Zi Han couldn’t help but overthink. This meant his mood had fallen to an all-time low.

Fast forward to the now where the former Marshal asked, “... you might be on opposing sides but you must at least consider him your friend, right?”

Zi Han couldn’t help but sneer internally. He and Yi Chen were never friends but they were lovers who were ready to become a married couple.

Zi Han suppressed his anger and said it directly, “Yi Chen and I aren’t friends.”

The Marshal’s heart clenched hearing this. This was what he wanted from the beginning and now that Zi Han had said it with his own mouth he couldn’t help but feel a deep sorrow for his son. At this moment he had even forgotten the countless messages Zi Han had sent to his son under the name StarryShadow.

He just felt regretful but recalling the matter at hand he went back to the reason why he brought him here.

“Do you know that Yi Chen is missing? He has been missing for two days now,” said the former Marshal and Zi Han’s heart fell to the bottom of his stomach. His body trembled subconsciously as he stared at the Marshal with an ‘are you serious look’ on his face.

The small room fell into pin-dropping silence with the two of them stuck in a deadlock.

“Bu-... but he, he replied to my message,” he stammered his heart arching to the point that he couldn’t breathe properly.

Yi Zhen lowered his head before saying, “That was Li Ran.”

Zi Han’s eyes darkened his anger almost suffocating him. Coincidentally, the door suddenly slid open and Li Ran walked in only for his steps to halt after seeing the deadly glare being directed at him. Zi Han looked like he wanted to skin him alive. He suddenly wanted to run away and hide in Hela’s bossom. He took a step back but as though Yi Zhen had eyes at the back of his head the man said, “Come here.”

Li Ran had no choice but to get inside, his legs trembling in fear. He tried to stay composed as he displayed everything they found about Yi Chen’s recent investigation.

“Long, long time no see Han Han. How how are you doing?” said Li Ran but Zi Han’s fiery gaze said everything.
