479 “It’s dad, dad not sir.....
Yeoh Lang pressed a button on the pendant he was wearing and laughed sinisterly as he rested his head back on the wall.
Before Yeoh Jun could figure out what was happening the ground began to shake. The beasts that were lying dormant waiting for this moment were woken up as the hangar doors opened. Their bright red eyes glowed in the inky darkness like devils crawling out of hell after the rupture. Loud snarls and growls followed as the earth trembled.
Yi Chen grabbed Yeoh Lang by his hair and asked, “What did you do?”
Yeoh Jun who suddenly recalled the terrifying creatures in his dream immediately bellowed, “Everyone run.”
Screams of fear ripped through the air as the people ran back to the south gate again but who would have thought that the creatures would come from there? They were from the silo-like buildings built outside the city by the high priest. He built this to breed beast that could take down the federation. The entire city approved of this project and taxes were increased for a while to support it. Now the high priest had used this very project to kill them all.
The crowd began to run in the opposite direction with some choosing to hide while others didn’t stop running for their lives.
“Hey, Yi kid. Take him away from here. Get him in a mech and make sure he is above the ground as much as possible,” said Yeoh Jun while his words were more of a command than a request.
Yi Chen didn’t think it was a good idea thus he said, “Sir you haven’t recovered yet. I think you should take him and I will take care of things here.”
“He needs you more than he needs me now go,” he said as the mech on his body returned to the pendant. Losing the support of the mech his body staggered but Igneous suddenly enveloped him and kept him steady.

Yi Chen wanted to say something else but Yeoh Jun had already left.
“Shit,” swore Yi Chen as he rushed over to the healing capsule. He hastily opened it and carried Zi Han out. His lover was still out of it but his vitals had stabilised.
He put the pendant around Zi Han’s neck and the mech reappeared cocooning him. The two of them flew up in the air away from the chaos but Yi Chen was ill at ease. He didn’t feel comfortable leaving behind his father in law but he also didn’t feel good about his lover being in all that chaos.
He looked down at the ground that resembled a war zone of apocalyptic levels and saw Igneous clashing directly with a ferocious beast.
Yeoh Jun wasn’t fully recovered but knowing what he knew about these creatures he could only fight otherwise this entire planet would be laid to waste.
With a frighteningly high momentum, Igneous punched the beast that was sweeping its claws towards a group of fleeing people.
The nobles that had been mouthing off just now felt their souls leave their bodies as they saw the gigantic claws descend upon them. Just when they thought their insignificant lives were about to end like ants trampled upon by men a mech flew by blowing their robes up to their faces and punching the beast. The jaw of the beast contorted weirdly as its spit flew out of its mouth raining down on the people below.
With a loud boom, the beast collapsed into the buildings rolling on the ground several times. The mech vanished after that leaving behind a group of men and women covered in smelly and slimy slobber.
“Is it weird that I enjoyed it a little too much?” asked Yeoh Jun with a sly quirk.
“Sir, nothing about you weirds me out anymore,” said Igneous as another beast leapt up in the air to attack the mech.
Igneous’ blade emerged and with a swift swoosh, the beast was sliced in two before falling back to the ground. One of the beasts standing behind the others bellowed and as though following orders they rushed over as a horde and began to attack Igneous.

Now, Igneous could hold its ground but the problem with this matter was when they came at it together. To show the full impact of this Yeoh Jun was bleeding through his nose and his eyes were abnormally bloodshot.
The mech was swamped by this horde that began to pile up on top forming a heap. Seeing the situation Yi Chen was very worried.
He glanced at Zi Han who was still knocked out and said, “Will he be okay?”
Raylan who had been ignored all this time scanned Zi Han and saw that his vitals were normal. “Marshal, the madam will be fine. You don’t have to worry,” it said and Yi Chen swallowed his emotions down before saying,
“Stay here, okay? I promise I will be right back.”
The reluctance in his eyes was apparent but he couldn’t leave Yeoh Jun to fend off these beasts alone. He descended down raining laser shots on the beasts.
Meanwhile, Zi Han’s old mech began to issue proximity warnings while engaging protective mode. That’s because one of the beasts opened its large wings and took the fight to the sky. When Yeoh Lang planned this he really had thought of everything.
Its arm transformed into a cannon blaster and searing balls of flames fired at the incoming beasts. Because it wasn’t one of the three calamities it was extremely lacking when operating without the assistance of the pilot hence it didn’t take long for the mech to be pushed down to the ground.
Yi Chen who was right in the middle of the storm got a warning from Raylan and immediately panicked.
“Go get him, I will be fine,” said Yeoh Jun while pushing away a beast pressing him back trying to bite his head off.
“Yes sir,” replied Yi Chen but Yeoh Jun was dissatisfied.
“It’s dad, dad not sir!” he yelled as Yi Chen’s mech flew off.
Just as Yi Chen flew off his mech was suddenly caught but a long slimy tongue wrapped around the legs of the mech and jerked trying to pull him down. Yi Chen engaged the boosters and a blue searing flame burnt the tongue but the beast wouldn’t let go. What made it worse was that the harder he struggled the worse the entanglement.
His anxiety shot through the roof when he saw Zi Han’s mech fall further down with the flying beast following behind with its mouth open to eat it.
“No!” he yelled in distress. He gritted his teeth and spun around his mech’s arm transforming into a particle projection cannon with massive firepower.
Boom boom boom!
Three beams were shot at super luminal speed and tore through the beast’s jaw. Raylan was set free but it was already too late.

Yi Chen engaged the boosters and a blue searing flame burnt the tongue but the beast wouldn’t let go. What made it worse was that the harder he struggled the worse the entanglement.
His anxiety shot through the roof when he saw Zi Han’s mech fall further down with the flying beast following behind with its mouth open to eat it.
“No!” he yelled in distress. He gritted his teeth and spun around his mech’s arm transforming into a particle projection cannon with massive firepower.
