Just when Qin Hao thought that Cheng Yan’s patience was running thin, Principal Kong finally answered the phone. “Hello? Who is this?”
“Principal Kong? It’s me, Cheng Yan.”
As soon as the old man had heard who it was, a cold feeling shot down his spine.
How could he not be afraid of Cheng Yan? The man was the president of the strongest company in City A. Not only that, but he was the head director of the school and could easily kick him out if he had so wanted to.
Principal Kong immediately thought back to why he could’ve called, but seeing as nothing came to his mind, he decided to ask, “Director Cheng, it’s nice to speak with you at this hour. Is something wrong?”
“There is something that I need you to deal with,”
he replied coolly.
As soon as these words had reached Principal Kong’s ears, he froze. Sweat trickled down his forehead as he tried to rack his brain as to what could he have done wrong.

“Principal Kong, have you been paying attention to our No. 1 High School’s social media accounts recently?”
“Social media accounts?”
Principal Kong was stunned. He was too busy that he hadn’t been able to read any of the online news regarding the No. 1 High School.
He slowly took out his phone and searched for news regarding No. 1 High School.
“It seems that No. 1 High School’s outstanding student was uploaded to the Internet after playing tennis, and now, she’s being ridiculed by the internet. Isn’t that quite infuriating?”

These words put together were enough to turn his brain into mush. Something just wasn’t right about all of this.

Although Principal Kong was complaining in his heart, he still obediently searched for the latest news of No. 1 High School. As soon as he did, he saw plenty of posts appearing, all having similar headlines.
He clicked the most recent one.
Browsing the threat, he gritted his teeth.
The stadium obviously belonged to No. 1 High School.
However, how dare they speak badly of their school? Why would they publish fake information in order to gain traffic? Who did these people think they were?
Why would this be fake news?
Sneering, Headmaster Kong opened the video only to see that the star of the video was none other than Yao Tang. He snorted, shaking his head.
The woman had gained so many achievements in one year alone. Why would she be faking this in order to gain traffic? He slammed his phone onto the table.
This was ridiculous!

Seeing this, Headmaster Kong immediately posted his own clarification under the thread.
“Hello, everyone. I’m the current principal of No. 1 High School. In light of this video, I can say that this video has not been faked for the sake of views and popularity. This match is simply an exchange of both wits and talent, not edited in any form. Please don’t use this post as an opportunity to slander our school.”
As he was typing out his address, he heard a voice coming from the other end of the phone. “Principal Kong?”
“Director Cheng, you don’t have to worry about this any further,” he quickly responded. “Give our school a certain amount of time, and we’d have everything handled. We won’t let these people slander our school any longer. I’ll be sure to give you an update as soon as this blows over.”
“All right.”
After Cheng Yan hung up the phone, Principal Kongcouldn’t help but think about the event that had just transpired. Does Director Cheng have a personal relationship with Yao Tang?
He remembered him showing up at the parent-teacher conference the last time.
