Qin Jing, on the other hand, didn’t care enough to follow the conversation. She picked up her chopsticks and tried a piece of dim sum. Her face instantly lit up. Lin Xinwas right—the food here was delicious!
Just then, Yao Tangreceived a call, and she excused herself to answer her phone outside.
She passed Room 409 on her way back. There was a man standing guard at the door, and his eyes flashed when he spotted Yao Tang.
Feeling his sharp gaze, Yao Tangturned to look at him, but the man quickly averted his gaze.
He watched silently as she proceeded down the hall and disappeared behind another private room.
Once she was gone, the man rushed inside to make a report.
Inside Room 409, Xu Xuan’s hand was still pinned down to the floor by Young Master Lu.
Her eyes were red and puffy from crying, but there was nothing else she could do.
There was no way of knowing what would happen to her next, now that she was in the hands of these cruel men.
Then, out of nowhere, a man walked up to Young Master Lu and whispered, “Young Master, I think I saw that girl just now!”
“Which girl?” Lu Qingasked with a sideways glance.
He gently blew on his teacup and took a sip, as if he wasn’t crushing someone’s hand underneath his foot.
The other man pressed his lips together before blurting out, “That girl, Tang something!”
“Yao Tang?”
Lu Qing perked up, a flame of interest flickering in his eyes. He put down his cup and turned to the man. “It’s her, right? Where is she, where did you see her?”
“She’s in Room 401. I saw her go inside myself.”
“Oh?” An evil grin appeared on Lu Qing’s face as he slowly smoothed out his shirt. “Go and invite Miss Yao over. I want to have a nice, long chat with her.”

Then, he finally raised his foot. He retrieved his wallet and threw a small stack of money at Xu Xuan.
“Get lost while I’m still in a good mood,” he barked disgustedly.
