Yuan Chu didn’t have the time to speak. She jumped straight into the spring. The veins the power had reached split open the moment they touched the water. He felt as if something in his body was erupting outwards! This about-to-explode feeling was so fierce. When he saw Yuan Chu swim toward him, he almost subconsciously shouted,

Yuan Chu was surprised, but she continued heading over.

Ye Chenyuan was afraid of hurting Yuan Chu. Seeing her draw near, he instinctively retreated.

It could seal heavenly demons, so it could definitely seal divine emperors. This seal needed nine times nine (81) Daos. Every Dao used up all of the current Yuan Chu’s Nascent Soul spiritual force. Luckily, the spirit spring provided an unending source of replenishment. Otherwise, it truly would’ve been impossible!
She didn’t know how long had passed. Time flowed much slower inside the Sky Pearl. Yuan Chu felt that she had spent at least a month there, but finally, she finished the sealing.
The last Dao seal was placed down. Ye Chenyuan sank into a deep sleep. Yuan Chu wiped her forehead and left the spiritual spring first.
“How is it?” Venerable Li knew he had done something bad out of good intentions. He guiltily hovered around Yuan Chu. “You used the Heavenly Demon Seal? Good girl, you truly understand a lot…”
Yuan Chu rolled her eyes at him. “You’ve been with him for that long, yet you didn’t think to examine him for hidden meridians?”
Venerable Li was a bit embarrassed. “… Things like divine meridians are a one in a million chance. There are usually signs. How could I have known he had Divine Emperor Meridians, which don’t reveal themselves at all in the early stages?”
Yuan Chu snorted and asked, “What about the body tempering? Even in ancient times, body tempering was a step that came after Core Formation. He’s so young right now, how could you have him body temper?”
Hearing this, Venerable Li looked at Yuan Chu. “What else if not for you?”
“Me?” Yuan Chu was surprised. “What does this have to do with me?”
