Chapter 218: Meeting Will Reeves
Coming out of the dungeon, he was hugged by Aaron and members of the skies to the point where he thought that he was going to die of suffocation.
Lucas was tired both mentally and physically and on top of that thinking about the problems that he was going to face after returning to the academy gave him a headache.
Lucas was inside the prison for around eleven days or so and the final exams were quite close by.
One cannot take a long leave without a valid reason. He might be punished this time.
"I hope Miss Ami has my back this time."

Lucas entered the leader's building where he had almost the whole floor for himself.
Each of the rooms of leaders was large and spacious and there were so many rooms even for the servants to stay in.
The training was also quite large having an additional gravity chamber, a shooting range, and many puppets to practice with.
Lucas hadn't even entered when Layla ran towards him with a worried look.
'Is she worried about me?'
'She is a good girl.'Lucas thought inwardly praising the girl.
"Master!"
"You can call me Lucas," Lucas muttered but seeing him stuttering to say his name, Lucas stopped her and asked her to speak further.
"Master, you have got a letter."
"Huh! Letter." Lucas raised his brows and asked her to bring the letter while sighing that his previous assumption was false.
Lucas looked at the envelope and saw the badge on it, a frown appeared on his face.
The letter was from Reeves's house.
Lucas quickly opened the letter and read the content. There was nothing much in it except Lucas was asked to meet Vice President Reeves as soon as he returned.
"I should speak with Julian," Lucas muttered.
Lucas looked for Julian only to find that Julian had taken leave and fortunately Julian had submitted the application for leave on behalf of Lucas.
Since it was submitted by her it was approved quite easily without much trouble.
He felt a bad premonition about the meeting. And the timing of it when.
Julian is absent, can't be a simple coincidence.
Lucas felt that he might be getting into a trap.
But he has to visit the place, after all, he can't ignore the person who had such authority otherwise he will be getting into more trouble.

Lucas took a deep breath as he stood before the Vice President's office. He had already equipped the button which can record video and sound to get anything useful.

The door opened and surprisingly Lucas was greeted by the teacher who took an elective class in the second year.
Lucas remembered that this teacher used to do research projects and he was a 5-Star rank.
'What is he doing here?'
"Lucas Bright, it's an honour to have you." The man spoke with a smile.
"Thank you, teacher Keller. The honour is mine." Lucas spoke with a small bow.
Lucas followed Keller to the inner place where Will sat on the table in a gratified manner.
This was the first he had met face to face with this man and Lucas could see the haughty eyes full of arrogance and pride.
He even had a hundred times more haughtiness than Charles.
"Vice President Will it's nice to meet you, "Lucas spoke with a smile.
Will rolled his eyes and asked Lucas to sit down.
A maid came and placed a tea cup before Lucas but he didn't touch it in fear that it may contain something wrong.
Will who sat folding his legs looked at Lucas observing him from toes to head and clicking his tongue.
Though it was quite subtle, it didn't go unnoticed by Lucas's eyes.
'Can't this bastard be any more obvious?'
"I will not waste so much time of mine and also yours. So, I will get straight to the point."
Will took out a small potion bottle and placed it on the table, startling Lucas.
"I want you to take this potion and use it."
"Huh! Why do you want me to give this potion?" Lucas asked.
"You don't need to know that."
The bluntness in his reply almost made Lucas's jaw drop wide on the ground.
'Does this person have a screw loose? You are telling me to drink something that I don't know. If there is poison inside it and I die, who will take responsibility?'
"Umm!"
"Vice President, how can I drink something like this?"
"Shouldn't I at least know what it is?"
"Hmmm!!"
"Fair enough!" Will spoke and asked Keller to speak.
"Lucas, you see this potion is a boost potion that can raise your rank and make you stronger."
Lucas blinked a couple of times on hearing this.
Seeing Lucas's expression, Keller chuckled and said"I knew it might be hard to believe but it's the truth. You have already seen its effectiveness. His Highness Will had used it in the final."

'What the hell is going on here? Why are they telling me these things?'
'Wait, don't tell me that they are making me a perpetrator in their scheme and dumping all the responsibility on me.'
