The tranquil river washed away the crushed rocks under the road. Four people laid paralyzed on the rocky shore, resting. The silver-gray team uniforms on their bodies were completely drenched. Water droplets still hung on the team name tags on their chests, “Ghost Hunting Team”. The Gray Wolf Alpha held his AK, inspecting the firearm for water inflow. He looked at his teammates’ health bars in passing, all with different degrees of loss.

“Fill up your health bar.” He Suowei spread out the bullets to sun dry while throwing three recovery serums to his teammates at the same time.

“We met a hard opponent. That Lion Alpha’s pretty good. Did you see how he drove that car, he’d definitely practiced before. I don’t know which team he’s on, but we may still bump into him when we go out.”

“See what alpha, do you have any aspirations in life? Don’t you guys think that merman Omega’s marksmanship is especially accurate? One rifle shot and our rear wheel’s out… And he’s so pretty. It’s the first time I saw him, his figure was so good. Gu Wulü wrung his team uniform dry and wiped his dripping hair. He looked at his inverted reflection on the water surface, tidying up his hairstyle. “Did I look handsome just now when I fell into the water? Can I leave a better impression… which one of you guys shot just now, do you know that you’ve hit him? He’s bleeding! Ai, I also want to team up with them, I want to protect that omega.”

“You definitely left him an impression.” He Wenxiao pulled down his socks to wring the water out at the river bank. He turned his head to make fun of him, “I heard him say ‘noob’ at the end.”

Gu Wulü still felt pretty good about himself. “At least I still got that ‘noob’, he didn’t even acknowledge you guys.”

He Wenxiao started to wring that foot’s sock again. “Stop being pleased with yourself, he was obviously scolding Captain.”

Beside him was another wolf alpha who strikingly resembled He Wenxiao, squatting there. He used the lighter bought in town to ignite the gathered thin firewood, conveniently roasting dry the wet clothes on his body. He raised his head, laughing and going along with his elder twin brother. “I think he was scolding Captain too”

He Suowei threw a handful of flooded scrap bullets at his teammates, hitting the three alphas crawling all over the ground. “If you can’t shut up about this useless topic for Laozi[1], I’ll break all of your legs when we return home.”

In contrast to Any Alphas Here team, the Ghost Hunting Team was an all alpha team, a little different from the four greyhound lineup of the previous Shrill Winds Rise team. This team was made up of three North American wolf alphas with a happy husky,Gu Wulü sneaking in between.

The captain got angry. The He Family brothers eagerly walked over slowly, helping He Suowei wring dry the hem of his coat and the bottom of his trouser legs. They made room for the captain to fire-dry his clothes in the most comfortable seat.

He Suowei picked up the firearm, heating it up with fire from a distance, checking irritatingly, seeing if it could still be used. At the moment, although they hadn’t at all figured out Casually Playing’s strength, they could at least be sure that this team wasn’t simple. Looking at the lion alpha and merman omega’s protection for the rabbit in the car, there was a high probability that they were also a team of three protecting one. Furthermore, they teamed up with the omega team. Now it seemed trying to seize their heads wasn’t really realistic. It was best to avoid them.

“Ge, how many stars can we get now?” Gu Wulü counted with his fingers. “I killed 21. In the end, I can only get five stars. Why do we have so much bad luck, other people all have three one-star missions, we’re the only ones with one three-star mission each. Nobody can beat this bad luck.”

From He Wenxiao’s mission book, they could find out that Experiment No. 1513’s general position was at the Research Institute. At the moment, only He Family’s younger brother’s task was already completed out of the whole team. He got a tube of AC hallucinogen.

Gu Wulü’s mission book only had a brief sentence: “Take the Accelerant hallucinogen and inject it into Experiment No. 1513’s nape gland.”

He Suowei’s mission book was even more direct. “Kill Experiment No. 1513.”

“That said, what kind of f*ucking thing is this Experiment No. 1513 exactly?” Gu Wulü held his chin, puzzled.

“That Lion Alpha just said that we’ll meet at the Research Institute. He definitely knows something.” He Suowei tried to light up the damp cigar three or four times, but failed every time. He unwillingly tossed the cigar into the water, causing a tiny splash. “Different teams teaming up won’t be judged as breaking the rules. The information we can get right now is too little.”

He Suowei silently considered it. If Casually Playing team’s task was also to kill Experiment No. 1513, then they could consider a few other methods.

Meanwhile, the Casually Playing team suddenly altered their route. They originally planned to enter the Research Insitute in a straight line. Now however, they drove away from the highway at a high speed, entering the mountain from an uneven suburban village road with potholes. It was bumpy the whole way there.

The BMW they stole from the underground garage at the beginning of the exam was smoking from the hood. The glass on both sides was completely smashed into pieces. Mottled bullet holes covered the car body. It was basically scrapped.

There was a Wuling Hongguang parked at Sanwa Village’s east entrance delivering vegetables. Bai Chunian turned off the engine and unlocked the car. “Change cars.”

Unexpectedly, Du Mo was obedient. The previous car battle made him see clearly some of Bai Chunian’s strength. Perhaps this alpha was a bit stronger than he thought. So whenever Bai Chunian spoke, Du Mo just immediately and obediently followed at his side. This alpha appeared to have a cynical prodigal temper. In reality, just by staying by his side, he felt an indescribable sense of security.

Du Mo still wanted to be nearer to Bai Chunian’s side. Suddenly, an ice-cold fishtail rolled around his neck. Rimbaud sat on the car roof, using the tip of his tail to haul the crow omega to his side. His eyelashes drooped, and his undisguised gaze deeply swept across Du Mo’s face.

Du Mo faced the seemingly not very friendly merman and couldn’t help but be even more cautious. He lifted his eyes carefully in confusion, giving Rimbaud a quick look face to face, then rapidly moved his gaze away. He vaguely understood Rimbaud’s meaning and quietly asked, “Ge, should I follow you?”

Rimbaud lowered his head. He calmly and indifferently took off the magazine from the belt attached to his waist and changed the rifle bullets. He voiced an en.

Lu Yan took a quick glimpse at that shabby filthy van and climbed up reluctantly. The little rabbit was born from a parent of high military position and the other a rich second generation. He’d never sat in a car lower than seven figures ever since he was born.

Bai Chunian patted the hole-filled car door that was half-covered with mud. “I’ll teach you how to fight a car battle, don’t you want to learn?”

When Lu Yan heard this, his ears flew up. He trotted over there and jumped onto the driver’s seat. “I want to… you drive quite well.”

Bai Chunian let Lu Yan directly drive off this filthy and old-fashioned van, taught him to drive towards the horizontal direction and then stop on the road curve, letting everyone get off the car.

At the end of the road, there was a faint sound of a sports car’s exhaust. Both Lu Yan and Du Mo’s first reactions were to set up their guns, preparing to fire at the car. Bai Chunian leaned under the tree and said lazily, “Remember clearly the difference of a sports car’s clamoring. What’s coming is a KTM[2], you guys can’t hit it due to its speed. Go and move the stones blocking its chassis.”

As expected, a team was stuck in the middle of the path, their car directly flipped over. Bai Chunian released Lu Yan to go and take the kills, collect the team’s express-delivered supplies, and then get into the car and run off.

“So rich, this team actually have a flamethrower, fuck!”

“This type of exam is just like this. You can snatch any equipment as long as you’re shameless enough.” Bai Chunian whistled, freely looting teams with cars that were left alone in the wilderness. The exam still had more than one day’s time until it ended. The task was almost completed. For the time being, avoiding big supply spots to lessen casualties was the best choice probability wise.

Directly in front was a team of unfortunate people recklessly rushing over. Lu Yan grasped the steering wheel tight and said nervously, “We’ve met them face-to-face, how should we fight?”

“The Volkswagen Passat directly in front of us is brittle.” Bai Chunian sat in the front passenger seat without the slightest bit of panic. “Hit it directly.”

Bi Lanxing took the three little omegas along with him to quietly and calmly hide in the residential area. Hearing the continuous overhead announcement of [Casually Playing] Lu Yan’s kill record, it seemed that he was at the countryside exterminating team after team, killing until he forgot himself.

Bi Lanxing couldn’t bear it and knocked on the communication device. “Chu-ge…”

The sound of Bai Chunian leisurely humming a song came out of the earphones. “En?”

Bi Lanxing, “Just, how about you restrain yourself a bit? I don’t know either how many teams there are in total. If you kill them all, wouldn’t it be a little too obvious if you get first place?”

The communication device went silent for a few seconds.

Bai Chunian, “Ai, I forgot.”
