He picks up the bright red magic stone in front of him.

This may have triggered it, but suddenly a blinking triangular button appears in the air. It is the button to display , which has appeared before.

This time there are two.

They are floating in front of my face and Sailuke's face.

There they are again. No, let's do this later.

I put the magic stone in my backpack and remove the wall of wind that surrounds the Taura.

The three of them come running toward us.

"Master Rust! Are you all right? What was that?"

Ary asks, looking at Sailuke.

"I'm fine. Ary and the others seem to be OK. I think Seiruk helped us with the primordial magic. Can you go check on the people who were parasitized by the mushrooms?"

I asked Ary and Roa as I looked at the ex-mushroomers who were approaching the entrance of the room.

The ex-mushrooms seemed to be very close. I see many people lying near the entrance.

I am relieved to see that they did not run into the wind wall and cause any damage.

Ary and Roa look at each other.

"Okay. But when we are done, I will make sure to tell them that you went alone.

"Even if it was Rust, that was reckless. I was worried."

Okay, okay. I'll be ready."

I reply to both of them with a wry smile.

"Taura...

"I'll look for clues on the sorcerer."

"Okay, be careful. I'll help you later."

I take my eyes off Taura, who then begins to search the room, and I collect the scrolls. I deploy one of the scrolls, the scroll that reveals Rose, and activate it again.

Rose ivy reappears.

Three of them, in particular, have tattered ivy tips.

I wonder if the Rose can be damaged this much. It seems that the force of Riharzam's invasion was quite strong. I'm glad we didn't let Taura and the others get too close. I would have been in danger too if I had not made the Bloody Potion.

I apologize to Rose as I check the ivy.

"Rose, I'm sorry. I put you in the worst possible position.

Rose shakes her tattered ivy-tip and tells me it's fine.

"It's hard to put it back together, isn't it? I'll prune it back, okay?"

Rose's ivy shrivels up. I remember that Rose did not like pruning very much.

I quickly take out a pair of special scissors, a jar of culture medium with little or no magical elements, and a clean cloth.

Fearfully, Rose puts the ivy tip into the culture medium. I quickly cut off the ragged parts. Immediately I dip the cloth in the culture and quickly cover the cut.

I wrap the entire cloth around the scroll of adhesive and hold it in place with a bandage.

"Okay, I'm done."

Rose ivy quickly retracts into the scroll.

I put the scroll away, half smiling, half sorry.

As I finish tending to Rose, the fallen people around me begin to wake up.

Just then Ary and Lois come back in.

"I checked. The parasitic mushrooms are all gone.

"Master Rust, it's still not complete outside, but as far as I can see inside the basement, it seems to be a success! Great work. However, a few people were injured in the fall.

"That's good to hear. We'll offer potions to the injured. And I'll wait until I see what's going on outside before I feel comfortable. In any case, we owe it to everyone's help this time. I think I would have failed without Sailuke's help."

I tell him while patting Sailuke, who is yawning on my shoulder.

This event was caused by Sailuke's primordial magic. I could not read most of the characters displayed on the screen, but I was sure that my guess was correct, even from the few characters I could see.

"Rust, you saved this country. You should be more proud of that.

Taura comes back. He seems to have heard her conversation with Ary.

"Taura, you have a lead on ....... From the looks of it, you didn't find anything.

"Yes, unfortunately. Let's just get out of here. Take those who are awake with us.

"Yeah, well, Taura, lead the way. I'll go for the cure. Lois, you're with me."

Taura shouts out to the awakened people. Gradually, the people begin to move.

Taura's knighthood seems to work well in times like these.

I went around to the injured people whom Loa had told me through clairvoyance and healed them with the remaining potions.
