"Huh! Wow, it's so big and magnificent - don't you think we don't need any more pioneering or city-building work here? Master Lust!"

Sherlur rubs Eve's bamboo wall and sighs excitedly in admiration.

"Take a good look at the ground with the pendulum. Sherlur."

I tell them, indicating the line of magical elements running through the ground. I had given the members of the Kagero Agency a brief tip on how to see the magical elements.

Sherlur takes out his pendulum and looks at the ground carefully with his eyes.

Scherlur's pendulum has a pyramid carved out of a monster's bone at the end of its chain. The pyramid is hollow like a lattice, and the monster's magic stone is placed inside.

"Wow, the roots are entangled in the line of the magic stone? Perhaps it is taking in the magical element directly..."

"Correct! That's the way to do it, Sherlur. You've been practicing well. That's wonderful."

I praise her efforts with open arms. When she first came to the Kagero Institute, she, like the other apprentices, did not know how to read the magical elements at all. In such a short period of time, she has grown to the level of a master in terms of seeing magical elements.

"What? Thank you very much.

For some reason, Sherlur turns his head down. I continue my commentary while smiling at him.

"As you can see, Eve is rooted along the line of the magical element of the monster repellent ward," I explain. She is borrowing a little bit of magic from the line of magic elements. It's impossible for a single alchemical beast to maintain such a large scale.

"I see. Then, you know, we could have stayed like this forever..."

I shake my head.

"That's not enough. Maybe six months at the most. And there's the downside of weakening the monster repellent wards a bit. So here's the deal."

I touch my right hand to Eve and tell her the keyword again.

"Eve,"

Eve's movements slow. The entire city stops growing.

"This should last a little longer. In the meantime, we're going to pioneer and build a solid city," she says. Besides, bamboo houses are not good for cooking."

I tell Scherlleur in a light joking manner at the end. But there is no laughter from Sherlur, and he just looks at me with sparkling eyes.

"Hey, Rust! We're done here. Are you done over there yet? Underground ruins, let's go."

Reb Har Hammer calls out to me as he approaches. While I was talking with Sherlur, he had finished distributing the work to the other members of the team.

"I'm done, too. Sherlur, please check on Eve's condition here.

"Okay! I've already taken the course on the runaway of alchemical beasts when an external factor is added to it. Leave it to me! I am sure that the alchemical beasts created by Master Rust will not go out of control by any chance."

Leaving Sherlur, who cheerfully accepted the task, I joined the group heading for the underground ruins.
