"d*mn, why do I have to spend my time on this? I can't stand the stench of ......," muttered Riharzam's voice.
"It's all Rust's fault for leaving the association on his own. He doesn't have enough gratitude and devotion to the alchemy association.
Riharzam is located in the equipment storage room of the Alchemy Association. Among them, this is a special vault for items that must be handled with special care.
At the moment, it is covered in the bodily fluids of the scavenger slime monster.
Rehalzam crawls on the floor and points the tip of his suction device at the scavenger slime's fluids.
A snorting sound is heard as a portion of the scavenger slime is sucked into the suction device.
For some reason, the alchemists of master rank have all left the alchemy association to deal with the troubles that have been occurring frequently recently, so that even Riharzam has been given the task.
Among the items stored in the special vaults, there are many dangerous items that require regular maintenance. Some of them are materials for monsters that can explode or go berserk if left unattended. In this sense, the management of the special vaults is a very important job.
Originally, there was a dedicated administrator, but when the current head of the association was appointed, the administrator was fired due to budget cuts. And as one of the chores, the basic research section used to handle the work even though it was not their responsibility.
After the dismantling of the basic research section, no one has been doing the maintenance, and the other day, a trouble finally occurred. The trouble was an explosion of the concentrated body fluid of the scavenger slime.
"d*mn. They put a restriction on entry because there are first class dangerous goods that require a master rank to handle! If only they didn't have this rule, I'd let my boys do it. Oh, it stinks. It curves my nose."
The unique smell of scavenger slime, a mixture of putrefaction and gastric juices, irritates Riharzam's nostrils through his mask.
"Master Riharzam! Master Riharzam! Oh my God!
Then a voice called out to Rehalzam from outside the vault. It was one of the new recruits of the armory, whom Riharzam had called his employees.
"What! Toltec! I'm busy!" Riharzam yells back.
"But, sir, it's a big problem. The vice president of the Armed Forces Association yells at me and says ....... He asked me to send Master Riharzam...
"What! Tell me that quickly! I don't care who it is, just tell the master class guy to come back and we'll continue here! I'll be on my way."
Riharzam runs out of the vault.
"Oh, no. Torteke's voice does not reach Riharzam, as he holds his nose and appeals to the smell that comes out with Riharzam as he passes by.
"What should I do? I can't tell him that. Besides, you never know when someone will come back ......," mutters Torteke as he looks at the storage door that Riharzam has left open. His hand reaches out to close the inner door, but is blocked by the repulsive field on the vault.
Temporarily released in response to a medallion of master rank, it is normally set to repel anything larger than air.
Peering through the entrance, one can see that the ceiling and walls are still coated with the bodily fluids of the scavenger slime.
Torteke leaves the door open and staggers away, saying, "Well, I'll just stay at the entrance of the association and wait for someone to come back .......
The empty vault. Air slowly enters through the open door and circulates.
The air naturally contains magical elements. The air that flows in and the magical elements contained in it.
Time passes without anyone coming in.
The body fluids of the scavenger slime, which are still stuck to the walls, continue to come into contact with the magical element along with the air. Soon, tiny little crystals appear in what used to be the fluid.
