The dwarf stands at the bottom of a long, thin glass bottle for potions and looks around.

He is about the size of the little finger of an adult hand.

As I observe him closely, he sits down and starts to relax, leaning his back against the wall of the bottle, as if he is tired of standing.

Oh, I yawned.

With a scroll in one hand, I lose track of time and observe the dwarf.

The dwarf finally notices my gaze and turns to me, stretching out one large hand.

The dwarf moves as if he is alternately looking at my face and the scroll of the unfolding hippopo manifestation.

He points up with the finger of one hand, as if he is looking alternately at my face and at the unfolding scroll of Hippopo's manifestation.

"Up? Hm? He wants me to open the lid of the bottle."

I look at the dwarf once to see how the spell I have cast is working.

A faint black mist wraps around the neck of the dwarf in front of me. I, the magician who cast the spell, can see it clearly.

...You are still under the sorcerer's control as usual. ....... Hmmm. There's definitely some connection to the entity that kidnapped Taura. I wonder what this mysterious dwarf-like being intends to do here.

I'm not sure what to do for a while.

Meanwhile, the dwarf continues to make the same gesture. I could not suppress the curiosity that was welling up inside of me.

My anger at my own inadequacy in the kidnapping of Taura is overridden by my curiosity about the unknown.

With a wry smile on my face, I gently put my finger on the lid of the jar containing the dwarf.

Slowly, you open the lid.

The dwarf looks at you once, and then extends his arm as if to point at the scroll that is unfolding.

He waves his arm and makes some other gesture.

He seems to be asking the dwarf to point the mouth of the bottle at the scroll of Hippopo's "manifestation".

He tilts the bottle slightly and the dwarf stumbles back.

"Oh, I'm sorry."

I can't help apologizing.

The dwarf stands on his haunches as if to say, "Be careful, will you? But he quickly untangles his arms and reaches out his hands toward the entrance of the bottle.

A sparkling blue purifying light shoots out from the tips of his hands.

The letters on the scroll of the hippopotamus, still unfurled, glow blue.

"What, are you ....... Hippopo."

The scroll glows, and the next moment, Hippopo appears before your eyes as if nothing had happened.

It seems that the process I had just gone through to call the Hippopo Brothers in the dungeon has been skipped thanks to the dwarf in front of me.

Silently, I hold Rose's scroll of manifestation in my hand and bring it close to the mouth of the bottle.

The dwarf in the bottle sends out the Johrei again with a gesture of "I'll take care of it.

"Rose Revealed!"

As I say my words, a rose vine now slithers out of the scroll.

"This is outrageous. ......"

I stare at the bottle in my hand, stunned.

Meanwhile, Rose is gently probing the area with the tip of the vine. She seems somewhat cautious in the unfamiliar environment of the dungeon.

"Rose, take care of that Lily body," she says.

I call out to Rose and get myself into the hippopotamus.

Rose moved the tips of the vines up and down to indicate that she understood and lifted Lily's body up, wrapping it in the ivy.

I take one last look at the bottle in my hand and put the lid on it for now.

The image of the dwarf waving at me from inside the bottle is quite impressive.
