When the wretched sisters leave, Cahelone takes out a bunch of keys. She opens the largest box with the key and presents it to us.

"Let me check, please", she says.

When I opened the box, I found a nostalgic item inside.

A circuit board of a magic circuit. It must be the one Taura had told me she had found in the sorcerer's lair.

A familiar alchemical quirk. They're all defective, but they must have been made by the Alchemy Society.

I confirm this and I am convinced that the kahelone in front of me is definitely the one to whom Taura entrusted the package.

I then began to explain the circumstances of Taura's disappearance.

I then began to explain how Taura had vanished.

"That's not ....... Is it really possible?"

Kahelonee looked at the sword of Taura that I had taken out for explanation and at the snoring homunculus in the bottle in front of her and muttered to herself, "I am not a homunculus.

"No wonder you don't believe me."

"No, no. Taura has told me a great deal about Master Rust. If Taura believes him, then I believe him too.

"...... I'm sorry to hear that."

Kaheloneh says to me with a straight face, and I can't help but make a strange reply.

"Master Rust."

Then, Roa's voice urged me to go. Apparently, he was getting bored. I give him a wry smile and finally get down to business.

"So, what I'm looking for is the scriptures used for the oracle.

"Indeed, from what you have told me, it seems to me that we, the Alaesraic scriptures, are somehow the key to this. However, I don't think that the scriptures that Taura had were anything special. I think he used the common ones provided to the clerics. The spell book, was it? I find it very hard to believe that such a scripture exists."

With that, Kahelonay retrieves his own scripture and shows it to me.

"Yes. May I take a look at it?"

"Please."

I accept the scripture with both hands, still wearing gloves.

At first glance, it appears to be an ordinary book. The binding is also very ordinary.

It was then. For a moment, I felt a sharp sensation on my right hand.

I gently remove my gloves and touch the cover of the scripture with the back of my hand as if caressing it, being careful not to let the curse overflow.

Was it my imagination? For a moment, I thought I felt the presence of a spell, but now I feel nothing.

"Thank you. So, Taura had left a spare set of scriptures with you, is that correct?"

I ask as I thank Kahelonay and return the scripture to him.

"No, I'm afraid I have no idea. ......"

Then, for a moment, Kaheleoneh stuttered. Her eyes were downcast, as if in thought.
