"This was completely unexpected. ......"

I took off my eyeglass-shaped magic tool and muttered involuntarily as I stared at it.

The loss of the magic eye of future vision came as a shock to me, to the extent that I didn't expect it. This unwanted power that I have been tormented by so many times, though not as much as Loa.

The anguish and pain that outweighs the usefulness of the glimpse of future possibilities in battle.

We are shown over and over again in every battle the possibilities of our own failures and possible deaths.

I have been seeing myself in all possible ways of dying with this future-seeing magic eye. Some of them are as ugly as simply slipping and breaking one's neck, and others are being devoured alive by monsters. Others have seen them kill themselves in gruesome ways at the end of their endless suffering.

But thanks to this magical tool that Master Rust had made for me, I was able to control my vision of the future.

This magical tool enabled me to block out the possibility of a horrifying future, which I had been forced to see, at my own will.

And I finally realized it.

I realized that my own fear of seeing the future, my aversion to this magic eye, was suppressing my own power.

Thanks to Master Rust, I had not only learned to control my future-seeing eye, but I was also showing signs of further change and improvement in this skill.

The image of the future that I saw when Riharzam visited the encampment was one of the changes in my magical eye that I was beginning to see thanks to the magical tools that Master Rust had made for me.

I wonder how long I was there, dumbfounded. I suddenly heard a voice calling my name and turned around to look behind me.

"Ary!" Sister Ary!"

"Rabbi Rust? Loa...

The figures of Roa and Master Rust come rushing toward me.

Roa rushes into my outstretched arms. Roa and I hug each other tightly from either side.

Master Rust seems to be smiling at us from a few steps back.

"Did you two come after me?

"Ary, I'm so glad you're safe. I'm so glad you're safe... Sister Ary, your eyes ......"

In my arms, she had been leaning away from me a little and looking into my face, and there she was, speechless, mouth agape.

"Yes. I seem to have lost the power of the magic eye of future vision.

I replied to Roa about my own magic eye.
