He wanted to take his revenge, but he suddenly encountered some trouble in the city. It was when a nasty thing called Ghost Thorn appears. It caused huge problems amongst the mages and has made the towers suffer great damage.
They did not know where it came from and how it appears, but it suddenly spread amongst the citizen and cause the city to be enveloped in fear.
It took them a month before they were able to quell the spread and discover the cause of it all.
And since then, he did not have time to go out.
He then heard about the things that have been spreading in Central Town and within Main Arjing City and it dawned on him that instead of getting his revenge, it would be better to capture that guy and extract the things he knows.
He has learned that those new things that came to the city are actually made by the group that killed his disciple and trusted elder.
With that in mind, he began to plot a plan.
And now the plan is already in motion.
He pointed his staff in Shin Jiao's direction and began to conjure his spell.
The people beside Shin Jiao were all caught off guard and were not able to move. This immediately made them feel fear and wanted to run, but they could not move their bodies.

After that call, he stood up and then gazed at the group of mages who suddenly became wary of him. How could they not? He is able to escape an ice prison without a hitch and it looks easy for him to do so.
