Excitedly pointing towards the west section of the mall, Akari told Takei that the swimsuit ship was just around the corner.
They entered the store and witnessed the true reality of the swimsuit store.
Although it was advertised for both genders, there was obviously a skewed gender ratio of the shoppers.
For every three women, there was about one male.
Even if they were male, an overwhelming majority of them were just stuck with shopping with their girlfriends.
It was quite obviously no different for Takei.
"Oh! Those colors and designs look perfect!"
Akari giddily skipped towards a section of the swimsuit ship that had attracted her attention.
However, it caused all of the males in the store to glance her way for a second.
Which ended up earning them a slip on the wrists by their girlfriends, no doubt.

As this was happening, Akari hopped back into his vision while holding two swimsuits.
One of them was a frilly blue polka-dotted bikini that didn't leave much to the imagination.
The other was a more conservative and streamlined white one-piece swimsuit that was easy on the eyes and incited a different emotion than the sexiness of the first option.
"I didn't know which one you would like more, so I grabbed two of these that I thought were cute."

Akari had only brought these swimsuits over to gauge Takei's reaction, but he had answered with no hesitation at all.

"There's nothing to apologize for? This was my own decision, since I'm catering to your tastes." Akari nonchalantly explained. "It seems that my boyfriend likes more reserved clothing~"
Akari had already known Takei's preferences beforehand, but she still wanted to ask anyways.
After hearing her explanation, Takei gulped and once again realized how heavy his girlfriend's feelings truly were.

In a small voice due to the growing happiness that was building up inside of him, Takei thanked Akari for her careful consideration.
