As evident by the sun rays piercing through the curtains, Takei assumed it was morning already.
Even though his consciousness was still hazy from sleeping for a long time, Takei knew that it was time to get up or he would get scolded.

She was in some cute pink pajamas that had loose buttons, which only further emphasized her assets.

Takei was only momentarily entranced by those beautiful hills that he would one day conquer, until he placed a blanket over her in order to protect her dignity and keep her warm.
The slow, rhythmic breathing pattern of her chest rising steadily up and down told Takei that he was still in the clear.
Takei closed his eyes and tried his best to remember what happened last night that resulted in this scenario.
Alright, let's try to remember now. Akari and I went about the day normally. Then, we had dinner and everything just like normal as well. After that, we went to our respective rooms and went to bed. Then... Then... She came to my room to sleep with me... Oh, so that happened...
Finally remembering what had happened in order for this event to transpire, Takei gave up and scratched his head.
"Nothing I can do now..."
Takei was about to move his arm and get out of the bed after covering Akari with the blanket, but he heard the door to his room slowly open.
"Hey, Takei! Rise and shine! Your grandmother and I made some good breakfast for you and were wondering if you were awa-"
Akihiko entered Takei's room with great enthusiasm, until he saw what was happening on Takei's bed.
He saw his grandson hovering over a disheveled Akari that was unconscious with an obviously satisfied expression on her face.
To top it off, Akari chose this very moment to sleep talk and mumbled something that shouldn't be said aloud. "Mmm... Takei, you're so naughty. Not that I don't mind... Hehe..."

Realizing that the situation looked very bad from Akihiko's perspective, Takei tried his best to explain. "Ah, so you see... What happened was..."
"No need to explain!" Akihiko interrupted. "Your first night together should always be special! I hope it was to your liking. I'll be taking my leave now, please come down for breakfast soon!"
As abruptly as he had entered, Akihiko just as abruptly left the scene with Takei's jaw left open to dry with no words coming out.
Since he was a bit lost on what to do, Takei just sat there staring at the ceiling for who knows how long before he finally managed to regain his composure.
He decided that the only way to clear this misunderstanding was to wake up the person most involved with the situation in the first place.
"Akari, wake up~ Your handsome and charming boyfriend is here to wake you up from your slumber~"
Takei gently shook her shoulders until he finally managed to get a reaction from her.
Akari gingerly sat up from her sleeping position and began to rub her eyes. "Huh... What? Where am I?"
"Good morning, sleepyhead. You slept real well during that predicament I was in," Takei laughed.
Akari also seemed to be a messy waker just like Takei, but she usually disguised it by waking up much earlier than him.
It took a few moments for Akari's memories to finally come back to her, but she quickly got embarrassed once all the memories started flooding back in.
The tips of her ears turned as red as a tomato which was similar to her increasingly red face that was extremely blushing as she remembered what they had done last night before falling asleep in each other's embrace.
Leaving her alone probably would've resulted in Akari's self destruction, so Takei sat down next to her and began to lovingly stroke her back.
"Don't worry, we didn't do anything naughty last night," Takei reassured her. "I made sure to keep it wholesome and PG-13."
In response to Takei's assurance, Akari stopped blushing and looked at him with dead eyes. "That's the problem you idiot!"
In the end, they had to go downstairs and resolve the misunderstanding that Akihiko had when he saw them in that suggestive position earlier.
