GFR Ch10

#10

So-Won, who was even more cautious, continued as Tae-Woo’s expression darkened, .

“Can I live in Tae-woo’s house?” So-Won asked.

He had always been called Esper Kang Tae-Woo and the first time he heard his guide call him Tae-Woo, it felt a little unfamiliar.

Before Tae-Woo knew it, the dark thoughts that filled his head were gone.

So-Won, who interpreted Tae-Woo’s silence as a sign of difficulty, hurriedly began to make excuses.

“It is said that state-supported dormitories have CCTVs everywhere. If you live in a place like that…”

‘I feel bad.’ So-Won thought.

While talking, So-Won found CCTV on the ceiling and closed his mouth shut.

‘There’s a surveillance camera here too..’ So-Won thought.

So-Won was glad that he closed his mouth quickly.

Or else he would have portrayed Tae-Woo’s room bad just because of the CCTV.

If he had said it as it is and it touched Tae-Woo’s mood, he would have had to see Tae-Woo with his forehead narrowed as before.

Tae-Woo thought of So-Won’s choice as unexpected.

Of course, if you live together, a safe state-funded accommodation would be better.

In fact, when an Esper and the guide first lived together, they often used state support facilities that were monitored 24 hours a day for safety reasons.

The Guide was like a powerless ordinary person, and an Esper was a time bomb that could explode anytime, anywhere.

Even in the case of a Tae-Woo, the state-supported facilities were more safe.

In addition, Tae-Woo’s house is located outside of Seoul, which is quiet. If something happens, he may not be able to get help immediately.

“…I’ll give you my address.”

Tae-Woo made a decision after much consideration.

It was rare for Tae-Woo to stay at home anyway.

On days when he was in bad condition, he had to attach several guiding machines. Tae-Woo’s house had only one guiding machine, so he spent most of his time in the private room of the Esper Association.

So-Won was reluctant to stay in a state-funded accommodation, and he would stay in a private room in the future. Even if So-Won lived in his house, So-Won would not be too uncomfortable.

So-Won’s expression brightened with Tae-Woo’s consent.

So-Won felt like he finally finished one of the things he had to do.

So-Won definitely thought of a lot to ask, but after finishing the most important business, nothing came to mind.

‘Should I go now? But it hasn’t been half an hour since I came.’ So-Won thought.

So-Won opened his mouth after contemplating.

“Would you like me to guide you? Please.” So-Won asked

“Okay.” Tae-Woo did not refuse.

So-Won also made a plea, knowing that Tae-Woo would not refuse.

He wasn’t surprised when Tae-Woo answered, but he couldn’t help being nervous.

So-Won got up opposite Tae-Woo and moved to the seat next to him.

He glanced at Tae-Woo’s side and realized how big he is.

It was as if a large black cow was sitting next to So-Won.

So-Won was not small, but when he sat next to Tae-Woo, he felt like a small animal.

So-Won looked at Tae-Woo’s big hand quietly sticking out beside him.

The back of the hand with dark red blood vessels protruding was still scary and gross.

‘Still, I had to be brave.’ [So-Won’s thought]

So-Won gently put his hand on the back of Tae-Woo’s hand.

Tae-Woo felt a tingling and stinging feeling.

He was tired, but fortunately, Tae-Woo didn’t faint like last time.

So-Won felt at ease when he felt the warm, completely different from the cold hands in his dream.

He was still scared of Tae-Woo, but it wasn’t to the point where he couldn’t stand properly like before.

He felt that the way he looked at him changed little by little after a few days.

It was quite traumatic that Tae-Woo died, a monster who So-Won never thought would die for the rest of his life.

Tae-Woo’s hands were so big.

So-Won couldn’t cover all of Tae-Woo’s fists with his wide-open hands.

He  looked sick for some reason.

Tae-Woo, who turned his head, looked at him and then sat quietly with his eyes closed.

Around the closed eyes, large and small blood vessels spread like blood vessels, making the area around the eyes look especially black.

Eight years later, these veins cover Tae-Woo’s entire body as if they were eating him.

The face becomes more emaciated, and the eye sockets look deeper.

Tae-Woo met a miserable end in that state.

So-Won’s expression darkened and Tae-Woo showed no sign of opening his eyes, So he looked at Tae-Woo’s face more closely.

The thick eyebrows, sharp eyes, and high nose were pretty as if they were carved with a carving knife.

The cheek and the angled jawline is something So-Won wants to touch with his fingers.

The shaving was neatly done, and there were no blemishes on the face except for the blood veins around the eyes.

Tae-Woo  looks cleaner than So-Won thought, but So-Won didn’t notice because of the veins.

So-Won tried to imagine Tae-Woo’s clean face without the red veins, but he couldn’t think of it.

So-Won, who was looking at Tae-Woo’s face with his eyes closed and started getting sleepy.

So-Won lacked sleep these days due to nightmares that come whenever he closes his eyes.

However, holding Tae-Woo’s hand, So-Won was confident that he wouldn’t have nightmares if he fell asleep now.

Tae-Woo’s little breathing was like a lullaby.

So-Won’s eyes closed softly.

Tae-Woo opened his eyes, which he had closed for a while, as if he was tapping and touching his arm.

When Tae-Woo looked at the side, So-Won, who had fallen asleep, was leaning his head on his arm.

While dropping his head, Tae-Woo could hear a sound of even breathing beside him.

It was the first time he had seen someone sleeping so closely next to him.

So-Won’s heart was shaken by the defenseless appearance and the light weight felt in his arms.

It was an arm covered by clothes, but when So-Won’s head touched it, he can feel himself being guided there.

The guiding area just increased by the size of So-Won’s small head, but Tae-Woo felt his body condition getting better.

It would be nice if So-Won’s head touched Tae-Woo’s arm a little more.

‘It would have been better if he touched my bare skin  that reveal my arms, not the long sleeves.’  Tae-Woo thought.

Tae-Woo was surprised  and felt sorry.

When Tae-Woo saw So-Won, the dirty greed stuck out in his head again.

Tae-Woo bite his lips and scolded himself.

He looked at the head leaning on his arm.

He  thought So-Won’s hair color was the same as his, but it was a little brownish than his clothes.

The slightly curly fine thin hair made Tae-Woo want to stroke it at least once.

Just thinking about it, it made Tae-Woo feel a soft touch.

Unlike Tae-Woo, So-Won have clean white skin. For him he was like a different creature.

The bunny-like plump cheeks and round eyes looked cute and innocent.

‘Lee So-won.’

Tae-woo remembered.

A few days before So-Won was matched as a guide, the name of the guide who was looking for him in the emergency room was also So-Won.

According to the doctor in charge, it was the day when So-Won woke up as a guide.

Tae-Woo could guarantee that the guide was So-Won and he is sleeping soundly next to him.

Tae-Woo didn’t know how So-Won knew him and why So-Won find him.

The bigger question is that the next day, So-Won made a designated match for Tae-Woo.

The result is surprisingly 100%.

It was as if So-Won knew in advance that he would match Tae-Woo.

If so, why did So-Won first apply for designated matching to Tae-Woo, who is the object of everyone’s avoidance, without running away or refusing to check the wavelength?

Tae-Woo remember So-Won shaking the moment Tae-Woo encountered So-Won in the guiding examination room.

When So-Won was first guided in the examination room, his face turned pale and he couldn’t move.

So-Won was so scared of Tae-Woo that he couldn’t understand why So-Won came to his private room today.

‘Is So-Won regretting his choice?’  Tae-Woo asked himself

Tae-Woo wanted to know, but he didn’t want to.

He looked at So-Won’s small hand on the back of his rough hand.

A friendly energy flowed in from the area where it touched.

Tae-Woo felt at ease for some reason while feeling the wave.

Tae-Woo wanted to believe that So-Won will be a little different from the others.

He let time pass without touching or waking up So-Won.

It was more than two hours after So-Won opened his eyes.

Gradually, So-Won, who came to his senses, noticed that his body was slightly tilted, and that he was leaning on something.

It didn’t take long to find out that it was Tae-Woo’s arm

“Argh!”

So-Won shrieked away from Tae-Woo.

Tae-Woo noticed that So-Won is awake. He felt a sense of loss when the light weight felt on his arm disappeared.

 So-Won and Tae-Woo’s eyes met.

Although it was short, the fatigue disappeared from So-Won’s face after a long sleep without having nightmares.

“I’m sorry. I must have dozed off.” So-Won said so and checked the time.

So-Won was asleep for almost three hours.

It wasn’t napping, it was sleeping.

“You must have been tired.” Tae-Woo said.

So-Won’s face turned red.

It felt like Tae-Woo was looking at So-Won pathetically.

It was all the more so because the tone was calm and low.

It was a far cry from Tae-Woo’s intention to relieve So-Won by looking at his eyes shaking aimlessly.

“I’m sorry…. I’ll guide you properly next time.” So-Won said.

So-Won was not sure if he had properly guided Tae-Woo because he fell asleep shortly after So-Won started guiding.

“You said you’d guide me first.” Tae-Woo said.

Anxiety poured in before the redness in So-Won’s face subsided.

 So-Won couldn’t look at Tae-Woo’s face properly.

So-Won wanted to hide in a mouse hole.

So he decided to run away.

“I… I’ll be on my way.”
