Chapter 18: The style of that 1 arrow

"Caslow! Go ahead and let everyone interfere with the dragon and create conditions for Bud."

"That's right! Tell the boys... They are brave, protect yourself." Roland stopped Caslow, who was about to turn away, and warned worriedly.

"Let them pay attention to attacking the bottom of the left flank, where the scales are loose, and remember to tell them not to save it, be sure to use the best Star Silver Steel Armor-piercing Arrows!" Roland looked at Kaslow's back and shouted a reminder.

"To be honest... you're not like a lord... like an old lady with countless warnings." Bud looked at Roland and said strangely.

"As the last lord of Lagrand... I am responsible for my people!" Roland said firmly.

"But, where is Lagrand?" Bud couldn't help but wonder.

"In the far east...she has died..." Roland obviously didn't want to continue this topic.

Seeing Roland's silence, Bud thought he was reminded of a sad past, and he knew the pain of losing his home. But Roland kept his mouth shut because he couldn't explain it! Do you want me to tell Bud: Hi! Dude, the Lagrand Empire appeared in Middle-earth at the end of the Fourth Era, and her ruling area includes the entire Rune and most of Rovanian?

"I hope your arrows are accurate enough, otherwise... we can only cut him!" Roland looked at Bud and drew out the Dragon Slaying Sword.

"What is this?" Bud looked at the radiant Dragon Slaying Sword in amazement.

"An ancestral weapon... This sword has slashed countless giant dragons, but it is not comparable to a flying dragon like Smaug!" Roland looked at Bud with the look of a countryman.

"Let's go! Let's go and remove the dwarf spear launcher." Roland said suddenly.

"Otherwise, how are you going to use this thing? Throw it out?" Roland pointed to the black arrow in Bud's hand.

"Hey!" Roland and Bud struggled to hang the dwarf spear launcher with a rope.

"Hide it up, don't be destroyed. If it is destroyed, we can only run away." Roland patted the heavy crossbow with four bow arms.

"I am flame, I am - death!" An angry Smaug flew to Long Lake Town.

"Dragon is coming!" a battenian archer who was looking out roared.

"Release the arrows!" Several archers around shouted at the same time.

"Xuuuuuu~" The star silver steel armor-piercing arrow roared away from the string and ran towards the dragon.

"Clang! Ding! 呲!" Several armor-piercing arrows bounced off, and only one lucky shot hit the gap between Smaug's two scales.

"Roar! Damn ants! You guys can actually hurt me!" Smaug said angrily. Even if the armor-piercing arrows about one meter were shot through the dragon's skin, they would not be able to penetrate the vital point. It was a bit of a stab, but it was a very shameful thing for Smaug, after all, the proud defense was ruthlessly trampled on by human archers.

"Hoo~" The fiery dragon breath swept in, and a column of fire that was dozens of meters long covered the head.

"Escape!" Several shooters rolled over and jumped off the wooden building, some diving into the water and some dodging into the alley.

"Shoot!" Smaug swept past Longhu Town, and a dozen shooters along the way saw the plane and launched an attack.

"Ang!" Several more star-silver steel armor-piercing arrows penetrated the hard dragon scales, and within three inches of the flesh, they lost their power and hung on the dragon's body.

"What the hell! Get out! The skin is too thick! Can't shoot through!" A Batenian shooter waved to the shooters on the left and right as he looked at Smaug, who had turned back and was about to dive.

"Boom!" As soon as they left their front feet, the overwhelming dragon flames on their back feet drowned where they were.

"My lord! It's too hard to kill! This is a flying dragon? It's more shameless than a giant dragon!" Kaslo came back with a sullen face. From the black spots on his armor, it can be seen that this young man just resisted. A dragon's breath.

"Should I go up and **** him?" Caslow whispered.

"Do you think your two dragons are proportional to each other? Go up and be a target?" Roland looked at him with affectionate eyes like a fool.

"Tell the brothers! When the arrow is empty, you can retreat!" Roland ordered.

"They can only cause trouble if they stay, the armor-piercing arrow is too short..." Roland sighed helplessly as he looked at Smaug, who was raging in the sky.

"Bard! Don't mess around!" Seeing Bard launch the heavy crossbow, Roland quickly pushed him back.

"Do you think the time is right now?" Roland grabbed him and shouted.

"We only have one shot! Bud!" Roland said heavily.

"We want to let him fall! Think of your ancestors! Only if he falls will we have a chance!" Roland sighed.

"Damn it!" Bud slammed his fist on the wall.

"Look, what have we done?" Bilber said in pain as he looked at the burning Long Lake Town.

"Poor people..." Balin whispered.

Behind them, a group of dwarves were either sitting slumped or leaning against the wall, all with expressions of pain on their faces, and the fire that ignited in Longhu Town in the distance illuminated their faces. However, because of Roland, Changhu Town is much better than it has been in history, at least no people died under the dragon's breath.

Only Sorin faced Lonely Mountain and didn't know what he was thinking. Bilber looked at Sorin, frowned and didn't speak.

"My arrow is empty!" A Batenian archer who was frantically drawing a bow habitually put his hand into the quiver behind his back to draw an arrow, but unfortunately he felt it was empty.

"I only have 2 left!"

"Mine is gone!"

"I have 5 more here, everyone!"

This kind of situation was staged all over Changhu Town. The archers who shot the arrows moved to the periphery of the town one after another, pulled out the small wooden boats that had been hidden long ago from all corners, and rowed into the lake under the cover of night.

"It seems that the archers have basically run out of arrows..." Kaslow said helplessly as he looked at the increasingly sparse arrows in the sky.

Smaug was still venting his anger in the sky, breathing wildly in all directions, and the hot dragon flames boiled the water in many waterways in the town.

"My lord! The shooters should all retreat!" Caslow found Roland and Bud.

Roland took a closer look and saw that there were only three Batanian shooters behind Kaslow. The other shooters should have either left or died under the dragon's breath...

"Bud! Get the bowstring! Let's get Smaug's attention!" Roland patted Bud on the shoulder and led the crowd out of the alley.

At this moment, Smaug had hundreds of sharp arrows sticking up and down his body, and the skin on his wings was riddled with holes... Although he looked embarrassed, it wasn't even a skin injury.

"Shoot him!" Roland ordered.

"Ding ding ding dong~" A crisp sound rang on Smaug's scales. Smaug was immediately enraged by this resistance force, he turned his head and rushed towards Roland and the others.

"Boom!" He fell heavily, his heavy body overwhelmed a row of houses, and he strode angrily towards Roland and his group.

"Hey~"

"..." Several Batanian archers kept shooting arrows in front of Roland and Kaslow. Suddenly, several archers stopped at the same time. They felt the empty quiver and reluctantly carried their long bows and drew out their long swords. Or your own armor-piercing hammer.

"Bang!" Roland took out the Dragon Slaying Sword and stood with a few people.

"Oh? Tiny humans? You have no bows and arrows, what should you do now?" Smaug's vertical pupils showed a mocking look.

"Are these people your squires? I'm going to burn them to charcoal in front of you!" Smaug said fiercely.

Roland waved his hand quietly to send a signal to Bard, who was hiding in the dark. Bard quietly launched the dwarf spear launcher, and Smaug, who came over, didn't realize that there was a small human under him with a black arrow. Get him!

Suddenly, Bud discovered the missing scales under Smaug's left flank. He was overjoyed and hurriedly aimed the black arrow under Smaug's left flank.

"For the glory of the lord of River Valley State! For mankind! Die! Smaug!" Bud suddenly shouted. UU reading www.uukanshu.com

"Go!" Roland hurriedly got into the alley with everyone, and the flames swept over the place where Roland and others were just standing.

"Hey!" The black arrow flashed coldly and flew towards Smaug.

"Ow!" Smaug, who was breathing happily, suddenly lost his temper.

"Ow!" The severe pain in his heart caused Smaug to struggle violently. He struggled to fly into the sky, and before he could flap his wings, he slammed down heavily...

"He fell?" Bilber looked at Long Lake Town in the distance.

"I saw him fall with my own eyes!" Balin exclaimed excitedly.

"Smaug is dead!" The crowd cheered on the observation deck.

"Good job!" Roland got out of the ruins and patted Bud with a smile.

"He died?" Bud couldn't believe it.

"You did it! You regained the glory of your family!" Roland applauded.

"It's a pity that Longhu Town was destroyed..." Bud sighed when he saw the fire that came into view.

"But at least the folks are all right, aren't they? As long as people are still alive, everything will be fine!" Roland smiled and stepped onto a small boat.

"Want to go together?" Roland asked.

"Of course, wait for me!" Bud also jumped up.

"Oh! I almost forgot! I have to use Smaug's waste!" After letting everyone go first, Roland ran towards Smaug's corpse, knowing that such a large flying dragon can produce a lot of precious materials.
