Chapter 34: Chapter 34 : Romance everywhere
Her eyes widened as she saw the screen.
It was Nina's incoming call.
[ Nina never phoned me so late. What might have happened ? ] Danica thinks
She pick up the call and says "Hello, Nina"
"Hello" Nina replied in excitement
"What happened? Wait a second..Why are you so excited?" Danica asked with skeptical face.
"Umm...I wanted to say something to you. However, I didn't get the time to share the news, since we all were so busy in clearing the mess. So, I am revealing now" Nina says.
Nina was smiling while talking to Danica, it showed that she was very happy with the things going on , in her life.
"Oh, tell me fast, you know I love surprises" Danica replied being childish.
"Okay, so the thing is --" Nina stops, she was increasing the excitement and curiosity of Danica now.
"Come on, just say it" Danica replies
"I am getting married" Nina finally discloses and jumps in excitement.
"Congratulations" Danica says with a smile
"But, don't you think it's too early?" Danica adds
"No, I want to get married as soon as possible. I can't let go of Paul now" Nina says
Seeing her friend so desperate to get married, Danica didn't gave her a benefit of doubt. She respected Nina's choice and decision.
"Okay, my friend" Danica replies
"In future, whenever you face any issues in your relationship, then do let me know. I will come to your aid and teach that Paul a lesson" Danica adds.
Nina was happy to see that she had a friend, who would be on her side even if entire world is against her.
Nina smiles and replies "Don't worry, that situation won't arrive. I know Paul will treat me nicely and with respect"
"Okay, I trust your choice" Danica replies
"By the way, when is your wedding?" Danica asked
"Day after tomorrow" Nina replies
Upon hearing that, Danica's eyes widened. She didn't expect things to progress so quickly.
"..." (no reply)
"Hello... Hello" Nina repeats
"W...what !" Danica exclaimed
"Are you serious?" Danica asked with popping eyes
"Yeah, I am. Do you think I will joke at 1:00 am?" Nina replied
"okay.. okay" Danica replied with a nervous smile.
"Okay then, let’s meet tomorrow" Nina says.
"Okay"
Danica cuts the call.
Suddenly something strikes her mind and she smiles.
[ Now , I have a excuse to make him stay. I didn't even have to lift a finger to make things work, everything is happening on its own. God, I guess I am your dearest child. Why are you so nice to me?] Danica smiles and thinks.
Everything was nice, but little did they knew, that things will take a bad turn.

A car stops at the entrance of the Company, Danica and Alfred steps out of the car expressively.
They entered the company and their guards followed.
Everyone stands up and bows as they pass by.
Danica enters her cabin, followed by Alfred.
Alfred gives tight and warm hug to danica from back and rests his chin on her shoulder.
Danica was feeling nervous and shy at the same time. She wanted to get rid of his hug , but, his hug was so tight and warm that she failed in her intention.
"Let's go for a ride today" he said.
"W...what ?" Danica was feeling so nervous and shy that she started rambling while speaking.
"No" she says
"Why ?" he asked
"You don't love spending time with me?" Alfred adds
"Yes...I... mean...No" she replied
At this moment he smiled inwardly, because he knew that she loves it for sure.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lee enters the cabin abruptly. He wanted to submit the progress report to Danica.
As he entered the cabin, he sees both of them getting close, he was now frozed upon seeing that. For a moment he forgot, why he entered the cabin.
[ I guess I entered the cabin at wrong time ] he thinks, giving a nervous smile.
[Before they see me standing here, I should leave immediately ] he thought.
He moves here and there, left to right, almost forgetting where is the door. Inspite the fact that , door was behind him.
He finally gets out of the cabin.
The abrupt closing of door alarms Danica and Alfred.
Alfred immediately pulls away.
"Did anyone just entered the cabin?" Alfred speaks
"If anyone did enter my cabin then, that person definitely saw us like that" Danica says with popping eyes
[Oh no !! what should i do now?] she winced as she thought about it.

Meanwhile -- In Office Area

Paul enters the office area wearing a suit, he was no more employee of CR Company. He gave a big smile as he entered the office area.
He was holding a sweet box.
Everyone looked at him immediately and ran towards him.
"Aye, you are looking so handsome in this suit" a lady employee said
"Wow, so you turned out to be the owner of Phoenix Company..huh! I wonder if there are any other employees who are disguised as CR Company's staff member and hiding their identity. What's going on, man? why you were hiding like that all the time?" other employee says giving a disgust look.
"Congratulations, Mr. Paul, for getting ownership of Phoenix Company" said the other one
Everyone were speaking hurriedly one after the other, Paul was now perplexed.
"GUYS !" he says loudly
The chattering stopped.
"I am here to share some good news" Paul says and grins.
Now, everyone listened to him carefully, as if they were eager to listen the news.
"I am getting married" he said with a big smile
Everyone jumped in excitement.
"Whooo yayy !" they all said in unison
Everyone started congratulating him one after the other.
"Thank you...thank you" Paul was saying every now and then
"Where is Nina?" asked the other employee teasingly.
"Ah...she is busy with her event management project. However, she has promised me that she will arrive here soon, within an hour or two" Paul replied and smiled
"Guys, I am inviting you all to my wedding" Paul said loudly
Everyone smiled and grinned.
Paul opens the box and distributes the sweet among them.
Now, Mr. Lee was just about to enter the office area, but he sees Paul distributing sweets to everyone in the office.
[Aish...Why this jerk is distributing sweets? did he won a lottery? wait a second, why would he need a lottery? he is already rich] Mr. Lee thought as he watched him.
He enters the office area now and greets the Paul.
Mr. Lee was just about ask Paul a question, but, before he could, Paul hugs him tightly and jumps.
Mr. Lee jumps too as he hugged him back.
"Why are you behaving like this ..huh?" Mr. Lee asked him
"...." (no reply)
"What happened to you all of sudden?" Mr. Lee adds one more question to Paul's library.
Paul now pulls away and smiles at Mr. Lee.
Mr. Lee smiled back.
Paul again gives him a hug, abruptly.
"WOULD YOU JUST TELL ME" Mr. Lee speaks in loud voice.
Paul inserted a big sweet into Mr. Lee's mouth as he opened it to say something.
Mr. Lee tries hard to chew that big bolus of sweet that was inserted hurriedly into his mouth.
"My friend, I am getting married" Paul said finally with a big smile on his face.
"I am getting married tomorrow" Paul adds
Mr. Lee's eyes widened as he heard that.
Mr. Lee swallows the sweet hard and says briskly "WHAT !!"
"Aren't you happy?" Paul asked
"Of course, I am happy" Mr. Lee replied
"But, isn't this too early?" Mr. Lee gives him a benefit of a doubt
"No my friend, No" Paul says
"Alright, if you both are happy and have no issue with it, then who am I to stop you" Mr. Lee says and gives hug to Paul.
"Congratulations. Finally my three years of hard work paid off" Mr. Lee speaks
Paul pulls away suddenly as he heard that
"What do you mean by that?" he asked
Mr. Lee keeps his both hands on Paul's shoulders and says "My friend, all this years, I have been trying to make you understand your true feelings and finally this year, you realised it. Now, you are even getting married"
"Oh, so that's what you meant" Paul said and gave a nervous smile.
Meanwhile, Nina enters the office area.
She was beautiful, but since Paul was madly in love, he finds Nina more beautiful than ever.
Everyone congratulated her and she smiled saying "Thank you"
She moves towards the Danica's cabin abruptly, she wanted to share something important with her.
Paul follows her.
"Nina" he calls her as she moves ahead.
"I want to say something important to Danica--" Nina replies, without looking back.
He grabs her hand all of sudden and pulls her towards him. He takes her to the corner wall.
"What happened?" Nina asked
Paul tucks a strand of her hair on backside of her earlobe and says "Nothing, dear"
"Okay, we are--" she says
Before she could finish her sentence, he keeps his finger on her lips
"Shh..." he says
"I have prepared a surprise for you" he says
Nina smiled
"Before that, I want something" he said and smiled inwardly
"What?" Nina asked and wrapped her hands around his neck.
He caressed his hands through her waist and pulls her more close to him.
"You" he replied and smiled.
Nina smiles back.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lee sees that Paul had forgot his keys on his table
"Tch....this guy is so careless" Mr. Lee mumbles
"I have to find him and give this keys, else he will go crazy ,finding the keys everywhere in the world" Mr. Lee sighed and muttered inwardly.
He moves towards Danica's cabin. However, his eyes caught something in corner side. He moved back a bit and sneaked in.
Now, his eyes widened as he saw Paul and Nina kissing each other , and making love.
[What the heck ! ] Mr. Lee's first thought
[Are they aware, that this is not their home ?] Mr. Lee's second thought
Nina's eye catches Mr. Lee standing there at distance holding keys and eyes widened.
[ Did I just entered at wrong time again?] Mr. Lee thinks and gives a nervous smile
"What happened, Nina?" Paul asked
