It was untraceable to keep the user's Reiatsu hidden from other souls who may be looking for the host. This Gigai was given to Rukia by Urahara in order to permanently seal the something within it.
Well, Xin already prepared something inside of Rukia, that Giagai is practically useless and the thing inside is already safely stored.
Before they get home Xin and Inoue walk in the supermarket and buy a grocery item for this week's food stocks.
Well, after all, there is a girl who likes to eat and invent different things inside of the house so replenishing their food prevents her from touching Xin's treasure foods.

"After you guys change, ready the dining table, the dinner is about to get done in a couple of minutes," Xin said.
"Okay," Rukia and Inoue reply.
Xin then prepared a spicy Mofu Tofu, a Steam Fish, Tamarind soup, and some side dish, after he finished he called for them," Inoue, is the table ready?"
"It's ready Brother," Inoue replied.
Xin then takes all the food in the dining table Rukia who stops playing hurry sit in the vacant seat, she still remembers the last time she ate Xin's homemade food.
